Here is some news about the Farmer's Markets since Thursday morning.
Aquí tenemos algunas noticias sobre los mercados de granjeros desde el jueves por la mañana.
Thursday: At the City Hall Market, there was a group called Hot Soup. They performed great children's songs of all ages. Once we all were about to leave for the day, they came to our table and bought two baby blankets, one phone sock that is knitted using the Maroon and Orange colors for the National Kidney Foundation and a teddy bear.
Jueves: En el Mercado de City Hall, había un grupo llamado Hot Soup (sopa caliente). Ellos interpretaron grandes canciones infantiles de todos los tiempos. Una vez todos estábamos dando por cerrado el día, ellos vinieron a nuestra mesa y compraron dos mantitas de bebé, un calcetín para el móvil que está tejido usando el marrón y el naranja, los colores de la Fundación Nacional del Riñón, y un osito.
Friday: The Market in Olde Towne Gaithersburg had it's last market day. Since there weren't that many customers coming, the City of Gaithersburg Staff had decided that the market would not go until the September 3rd date. They had said that they may retry the Olde Towne Market next Summer, but aren't quite sure, yet. If there's any new news to report about the market, I will make sure to pass it along to you when the time comes.
Viernes: El Mercado en Olde Towne Gaithersburg tuvo su último día. Como no habían venido suficientes clientes, los trabajadores del ayuntamiento de Gaithersburg han decidido que el mercando no continuará hasta el 3 de septiembre. Han dicho que ellos pueden que reintenten el Mercado de Olde Towne el próximo verano, pero no están muy seguros aún. Speaking of the Friday market, my friend, Jenny N. had made her own type of yarn craft. She uses yarn to make Yarn "People". She is selling them for $1 each. Once I have the chance to put a picture of them on the web site for you to see, I have a feeling you'll like them. They are very cute and come in different sizes and colors.
Hablando del Mercado del viernes, mi amiga Jenny N ha hecho su propio diseño de tipo de hilo. Ella usa hilo para hacer el diseño “gente”. Ella está vendiéndolos por 1 dólar cada uno. Una vez tenga la oportunidad de poner una foto en la web sobre ellos para que los veas, Presiento que os va a gustar. Ellos son muy bonitos y de diferentes tamaños y colores.
Saturday: At the Kentlands Pavilion, there were a lot of customers coming by and looking at some of our newest items we had for sale. We would like to thank those who had bought phone socks and taken some business cards throughout the day.
Sábado: En el Pabellón Kentlands, había muchos clientes acudiendo y mirando algunos de nuestros artículos que tenemos a la veta. Nos gustaría agradecer a aquellos que han comprado calcetines y han cogido algunas tarjetas de visita durante el día.
