Hoods and more Knitted Items for March 21st

Since I was at the Flea Market recently (February 21st), I noticed how everyone liked the hoods that I had made. I'm planning to make more hoods that are going to be black and red, yellow and blue, and a few other colors. I might try to make another orange colored hood, but I'll see what I can do with the time before the next Flea Market event in March (March 21st). If anyone has any other suggestions as to color choices, please feel free to let me know.

Speaking of making more knitted items, I'm also going to make some new baby blankets with hoods-- also for the Flea Market. If you would like to see what kinds of baby blankets we have made already, please take a look at the Knitting Samples section. If you have any ideas as to new patterns, please let me know at any time.

I hope you all have a great rest of the week.

Knit-a-Square for Children

I got an e-mail recently from Lion Brand Yarn and thought you'd be interested in reading about the Knit-a-Square program. It's to help children in Africa that have AIDS and HIV. Please take a look at the web site when you can. I'd like to know what you all think. The web site for the program is: http://www.knit-a-square.com.

New Baby Blanket

I had made a baby blanket recently for one of my friend's sisters. The blanket had been made with Baby Sky Blue yarn. When I get the chance, I will post the pictures of the blanket on the web site for everyone to see. I know you'll all love them! Some of the pictures for the blanket will be in the Knitting Samples section, so please take a look at that part of this web site/blog, as well when you get the chance for updated photos. If you have any suggestions on how some of the baby blankets (or any other items that you have seen so far) should look (new designs, patterns, etc.), then please write a comment so we can try your suggestions, too. We love getting new ideas all the time!

Beautiful Scarves

Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to let you know that later in the next few days or so, I'm planning to put some beautifully knitted scarves on the web site. There's one that is made with baby sky blue colored yarn and one that is gold colored. They are both very soft and warm to the touch.
