Baby Aqua Scrunchy

Well, I thought since I had a few minutes before I had to head down for dinner, I'd post another posting. It has to do with a Baby Aqua Scrunchy that I ended up making yesterday afternoon. The scrunchy is very soft and pretty! It has ribbing on it for decoration. I'm going to sell it at the April 18th Flea Market-- along with the headbands and a few other knitted items I have been working on lately.

For some new projects that I'm planning to do, I'm going to try and make a purse, some different looking phone socks, more scrunchies (if there's time), and a child-sized head band for the Summer months.

Well, this is all for now. More to come after April 1st!

Silver Colored Head Band

This afternoon, I made a head band that is silver colored and has holes in it. I am really happy as to how it turned out. When it's sewn up, I'll post it on the web site. I know you'll love how it looks once you see it!

Well, this is all for now. More to come soon. Have a good rest of the week.

Baby Aqua Headband Update

Hello again. I wanted to give you an update on the Baby Aqua headband. I'm sure, once it's done, you'll love the way it looks! There is going to be ribbing for some of it. It'll look different from the Hot Pink headband that had been made on Friday. Both headbands will probably end up in the Knitting Samples section once they are both completed. It depends on the timing for me to put them on that part of the web site. If I don't get the chance to put them on the Knitting Samples section, please look for them in the upcoming postings that I'll put up in the next few weeks.

Well, this is all for today. More to come soon.

Baby Aqua Headband & Purses

Today, I am going to start working on the Baby Aqua headband. I'm going to take some pictures when everything is taken care of in time for the April 18th Flea Market (Note:save the date).

Once all the headbands are done, I'm going to make a few more phone socks and start on the first purse. I'm going to use bamboo handles for the purse(s). I know you'll like them as soon as you see them.

Well, this is all for right now. Have a great week ahead! More to come soon!

Hot Pink Headband Update

Well, I had made the first Hot Pink headband for this coming Flea Market. It looks good, but I just need to sew up the seams before I end up taking any pictures of it. I'm sure, once you see how great it looks, you'll agree that it's the perfect size and color. Plus, it goes great with the matching two phone socks that are solid Hot Pink and Hot Pink with Brown.

The next headband that I make will be made with the Baby Aqua yarn. That might be started in the next few days. If I get the chance to work on it, then it won't take too long to take pictures of them both.

Hot Pink Headband

Today, I'm going to start making the Hot Pink headband that I was talking about a few days ago. Once that is completed, I will take some pictures and put them on the Knitting Samples section for you all to see. I will also try to get some pictures for the main part of the web site. If you have any other color or style suggestions, please let me know.

Well, this is all for right now. Have a great weekend ahead!

Blue Sparkle Phone Sock

Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to try and put a new posting before it got dark tonight. I hope you're all having a good day so far.

Earlier today, I sold a phone sock that was blue and had sparkles in the yarn. I was happy to know that the person who bought it could use it right away. They were glad to know that I had it with me at the time since they didn't have a holder for their cell phone with them.

Well, this is all for now. There's more to come in the next few days. Stay tuned!

Planning Day!

So, today is planning day. I spent so much time since 2 pm working on getting some patterns and ideas for a purse and also some headbands. I'm thinking that when I finally do start making the purses, some of them might have a button in the middle so the purses could close and be secure enough so nothing will fall out while using them.

For the headbands, I'm thinking of using bright colors and light weight yarns. The first headband will probably be made with the Baby Aqua yarn. If that one works the way I want it to, then the second headband will be made with the Hot Pink yarn that I used once for a phone sock a few months back. As the time gets closer to the April 18th Flea Market's event, I will see what can be done.

Well, I better stop here for tonight. More updates to come in the next few days.

New Projects to be Made

Today, I have decided to make some new items starting tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to do some planning for a few purses and headbands to be made for the upcoming April 18th Flea Market (see past postings for details of where and when). It will be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Since some people came to the March 21st Flea Market and asked about headbands, I think I might start working on plans for them first and then head on to the purses. If anyone has any ideas of what pattern or colors to use for either project, please feel free to let me know. I'm willing to take any suggestions you might have to offer.

Well, this is all for tonight. Have a good rest of the week. I'll put another posting when I have some updates on each project I end up finishing.

March 21st Flea Market

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great weekend so far.

I wanted to give you all an update as to how today's Indoor Flea Market went for us at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. To start with, I'd like to thank those who came to our table and looked at the items that we had brought with us to be sold. I also would like to thank those that took some business cards and said that they'd contact me soon about possible knitted items to be ordered.

Along with news about flea markets, the next one is scheduled for April 18th. We are going to try and make some knitted headbands, purses, a few more phone socks and baby blankets. Please save the date. I hope to see you then!

Gray Hood & New Phone Socks

I am getting ready for this weekend's Flea Market at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds (16 Chestnut St., Gaithersburg, MD-- March 21st from 9am-1pm). To do that, I am getting all the hoods (two red and black, 1 gray) sewn up and put on the modeling heads that I had bought. Before I take them to the fairgrounds, I'm going to take some pictures of the gray hood. I'm hoping to put the pictures of the gray hood on the web site after the Flea Market ends. It looks really good! It's soft and warm, too!

Along with the hoods, I'm also making some new phone socks. Some of the phone socks are going to have patterns and some are going to be solid colors. Please come and check them out. They can keep your cell phone safe from the weather and also from falling. I've made two phone socks that match the red and black hood(s). You can buy them either as a pair, or on their own.

I hope to see you all at the Flea Market! Have a great rest of the week.

Some new phone socks

Well, I have started making more phone socks for sale. Some of these new phone socks will be at the upcoming Flea Market(s) that I have already signed up to be part of for the next few months (one Flea Market is for the Montgomery County Recreation Department at the Potomac Community Center on May 2nd). There will be two phone socks that are red and black. There will also be a brown and baby aqua colored phone sock. I just made a brown and hot pink phone sock this afternoon. Once all of them are sewn up and pictures had been taken, I will add them to the Knitting Samples section and also to the main part of the web site for you all to see. I'm sure you'll like them. They are very colorful, soft and pretty! Please come and check them out on March 21st at the Flea Market located on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, MD! Hope to see you then!

I am so happy with how the cardigan sweater turned out. It looks very lovely and colorful! Once you see it, I know you'll love the way it looks, too.

New Multi-Colored Baby Blanket-- Coming Soon!

Good afternoon everyone! I hope your week is going well. I know it's been a few days since I had posted anything, but that's because I was so busy getting ready for the upcoming Flea Market at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds here in Gaithersburg, MD. The address is: 16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg, MD. If you are interested in going to the Flea Market, the date for it is: March 21st. The time for the Flea Market is: 9 am-1 pm. We are going to be selling some phone socks, baby blankets, scarves for children and adults, and a few hoods.

Speaking of knitted items that are for the Flea Market, I'm working right now on a multi-colored baby blanket with a hood attached to it. Once it's done and sewn up, I'm going to post a picture of it for you to see in the next few weeks. I'm sure you'll love how it looks once you see it on the Knitting Samples section. So far, from what has been done already, the blanket's main part looks great! It is made with 100% acrylic multi-colored yarn.

Well, this is all for right now. I'm going to put another post some time in the next few days if I have the chance. Have a great rest of the week!

Gold Scarf

Good evening everyone. I hope you are having a good week so far.

This is a picture of a beautiful gold colored scarf that I had made recently. It can be good for fancy parties and special occasions. There is a gold colored phone sock that I had made a while ago that would be perfect with the scarf as a matching set. You can see another picture of this gold scarf on the Knitting Samples section very soon.

Cardigan Sweater

Good morning everyone. I hope you all are having a great weekend so far.

I wanted to let you know that I am working on making a cardigan sweater. It is made with 100% acrylic multi-colored yarn. It will have different colored buttons on the front once it's finished. When I do get it finished, then I plan on taking some pictures and putting them on the web site and also in the Knitting Samples section for you to see. I'm sure you'll like it very much once you see it. It's my first adult sized cardigan sweater I have made.
