I have decided to make some Kleenex Carrying Cases with the 4th of July holiday in mind. I just finished the body of the Kleenex Carrying Case and have thought of what type of button to use for closing it. It's going to have a blue colored button. The yarn I used to make the Kleenex Carrying Case(s) were: Red, White and Blue. I'm going to be selling the Kleenex Carrying Cases at the upcoming Flea and Farmers Markets events in June.
In other knitting news, I have also started making a poncho with the color Natural. It is from the Lion Brand Yarn Company. It's Fisherman's Wool yarn. I'm planning on taking pictures of it as soon as I'm finished putting the fringe on the poncho. I will write some updates on the poncho in the next few weeks.

Farmers Market Event
This afternoon, I went to a Farmers Market event that was in the Kentlands area of Gaithersburg. There were lots of vendors who sold beautiful jewlery and art work. The vendors told me about what to expect when you have a booth to sell items. The information they gave me was very helpful. I told them that I was thinking of selling my knitted items and they thought that sounded great! I showed them a phone sock that I had brought with me, so they had an idea as to what kind of knitting I can do (among other items). They thought the phone sock was very nice.
Well, this is it for right now. More knitting news to come soon.

Eye Glass Case & Other Projects
This afternoon, I was working on another new item-- an Eye Glass Case. The colors of the eye glass case are Lilac and Dark Purple. The eye glass case is machine washable and made with 100% acrylic yarn. It has a draw string so it can close easily and keep the glasses from falling out.
Along with the Eye Glass Case, I also had made a new phone sock that is Bright Orange and Dark Purple. The phone sock has a block-like pattern to it. That is also made with 100% acrylic yarn. Once it is sewn up, I'm going to take a few pictures to be posted on the Knitting By Leah Pictures section. I'm also going to post some other pictures on the main part of the web site.
Have a great weekend ahead! More knitting news to come soon.

New Item!-- Camera Sock
There has been some requests for a new item to be made-- a Camera Sock. I am thinking of making a few for the upcoming Flea Market (June 20th). I will make some of the camera socks using Red, White and Blue yarn (4th of July colors). When they are completed, I will post them on the web site.
Well, this is all for now. Have a great rest of the weekend. More knitting updates to come soon!

Hello everyone. I wanted to let you all know that the problem with my Knitting Samples/Pictures Section had been taken care of. There was a malfunction with Flickr and the Blogspot.com connection part of the web site. Since the problem has been taken care of, I'm planning on posting more pictures of my knitted items in the next few days once everything is completed.

Knitting Samples Section Investigation
Hello everyone. While I was looking at my web site this evening, I noticed that there had been some new pictures that I had not put on the Knitting Samples Section. These pictures are not knitting pictures and the matter will be looked into right away. Until I can figure out what has happened, please continue reading my knitting updates that I post. I am not planning on putting any new pictures on the web site until this matter has been settled. Thank you for understanding and your patience.

New Phone Socks and Other Items Coming Soon
I had made some new phone socks lately. Once they are sewn up, I'm planning on putting some of the pictures into the actual postings in the next few weeks. The new phone socks are Navy Blue and Taupe colored. The Taupe colored phone socks go well with the matching purse that I had made recently, as well. Once that gets sewn up, then I will post a picture of it.
Speaking of phone socks, I had sold the Green with sparkle phone sock over the weekend at a party. The phone sock had gotten used right away.

The purse will be also at the upcoming Flea Market event on June 20th. There will also be a few matching cell phone socks to go along with the purse.
Well, this is all for now. More news to come soon. Have a great rest of the week.

Bright Red with Ruby Button Kleenex Carrying Case & June 20th info.
Yesterday afternoon, I made a Kleenex Carrying Case that is bright red with a red ruby button. Once everything is sewn up and the button is placed on the case, I will take some pictures for the Knitting Samples section and also for the main part of the web site. The carrying case has some ribbing on it so that it won't curl up when it's not in use. Also, the Kleenex Carrying Case is made with 100% acrylic yarn. With each Kleenex Carrying Case, you get a free starter Kleenex package.

New Pictures on the Knitting Samples Section
I had added some new pictures to the Knitting Samples section this morning. One picture is of a close up version of a child's Night-Night. Another picture is of two phone socks (Navy Blue and Red Sox's team colors). When I have more time, I plan on taking more pictures of upcoming knitted items. Those might be taken sometime before June 20th (the next Flea Market event at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, Maryland (more information on the Flea Market to come in the next posting)).

Red Sox & Navy Blue Phone Socks
Earlier today, I made a Red Sox colored phone sock. I had also started sewing up a Navy Blue phone sock that I had made a few days ago. Once they are both completed, I'm planning on putting some pictures of them on the web site. I have a feeling you'll love how they look!
Well, I guess this is all for right now. More knitting news to come soon. Have a good rest of the week.

New pictures coming soon & Flea Market May 2nd
Hello everyone. I hope you're having a good week.
I have finished the denim purse and a few new phone socks. Later today, I'm going to take some pictures of the denim purse and phone socks and post them on the web site for you all to see. Please look at the Knitting Samples section, as well. I am planning on putting the picture of the purse on that part of the web site. As for the phone socks, I'm going to put them on the main part of the web site. The phone socks are gray colored. I might make a few more gray colored phone socks in the next few weeks for donations of Brain Cancer.
Well, this is all for right now. Hope to see you tomorrow (May 2nd) for the Flea Market event at the Potomac Community Center.
