Tons of Knitting! (¡Toneladas de labor de punto!)

Sorry it's been a while since my last posting, but I've been extremely busy lately.
Lamentable ha sido un rato desde mi última fijación, pero he estado muy ocupado últimamente.

I'm planning to do some knitting this afternoon at 2 pm and then do some work on the forms for the upcoming events that start in May.  One of the events will be taking place at Long Branch Community and Senior Center early May 2017.  The other events are for the Farmer's Markets both at Damascus High School and also in the Olney, MD. area.  I hope everyone can come to all the events very soon!
Planeo hacer un poco de labor de punto esta tarde a las 14:00 y luego hacer un poco de trabajo de las formas para los acontecimientos próximos ese principio en mayo. Uno de los acontecimientos ocurrirá en Comunidad de la Rama Larga y Centro Mayor a principios del mayo de 2017. Los otros acontecimientos son para los Mercados del Agricultor tanto en la Escuela secundaria de Damasco como también en Olney, área de Maryland. ¡Espero que cada uno pueda venir a todos los acontecimientos muy pronto!

I'm thinking of knitting some pink colored hats that look like they have cat's ears at the top.  I'm going to see if the pattern can be done in time for all the events.  I'll let you all know what happens when I can.
Pienso tejer algunos sombreros rosados que parecen que tienen los oídos del gato encima. Voy a ver si el modelo se puede hacer a tiempo para todos los acontecimientos. Dejaré a todos ustedes saber lo que pasa cuando puedo.

New Items for the New Year (Nuevos artículos para el año nuevo)

Starting after the upcoming new year gets on the way, there will be some new items that I'm going to be posting pictures of for you to see.  Some of the new items can be used in any situation
(i.e.: traveling).  Other new items will be for exercise equipment/classes.
Comenzando después de que el año nuevo próximo se pone por el camino, habrá algunos nuevos artículos de los cuales voy a fijar cuadros para usted para ver. Algunos nuevos artículos se pueden usar en cualquier situación (es decir: viajes). Otros nuevos artículos serán para el equipo de gimnasio / clases.

Some of the new items will be sold starting in May when the Unity Festival and Farmer's Market season gets on the way.

Holiday Gifts and Decorations (Regalos de vacaciones y decoraciones)

Here are some pictures I had taken of a Menorah and a Christmas Ornament that I had knitted a few weeks ago.
Aquí están algunos cuadros que había tomado de un Menorá y un Ornamento de la Navidad que había tejido hace unas semanas.

The Menorah can be placed on a window or door with suction cups.  If you want to place it on a refrigerator, you will need magnets.  Also, the flames for the candles are crocheted, but the backing for each flame has velcro so the flames can stick for each night.  There is only one flame that is sewn on and that is the shamash, or helper candle to help light all the other flames for the candles.
El Menorá se puede colocar en una ventana o puerta con émbolos. Si quiere colocarlo en un refrigerador, necesitará imanes. También, las llamas para las velas se hacen ganchillo, pero el apoyo para cada llama tiene el velcro por tanto las llamas se pueden pegar para cada noche. Hay sólo una llama que se cose a y esto es el shamash o vela del ayudante para ayudar a encender todas las otras llamas para las velas.

The Christmas Ornament can come in any color and with or without the year.  It can be any size of choice and has a loop at the top so it can be placed on a Christmas tree.  More will be knitted in the next few weeks, so please let me know if you would like to place an order for one before this Christmas.  Also, please let me know how big and exact shade of color you would like the ornament to be (both ball and year/words).
El Ornamento de la Navidad puede venir a cualquier color y con o sin el año. Puede ser cualquier talla de la opción y tiene un lazo encima por tanto se puede colocar en un Árbol de Navidad. Más se tejerá en las próximas semanas, así por favor avíseme si le gustara colocar un pedido por su parte antes de esta Navidad. También, por favor avíseme de que tamaño y la sombra exacta del color le gustaría el ornamento ser (tanto pelota como año/palabras).

Holiday Show and Sale Photos (Espectáculo de vacaciones y fotos de venta)

Here are some pictures I had taken yesterday morning at the Holiday Show and Sale.  Some of the pictures are of the other Vendor's set up/booth area.
Aquí están algunos cuadros que había tomado ayer por la mañana durante el Espectáculo de Vacaciones y Sale. Algunos cuadros son del juego del otro Vendedor/cabina el área.

While at the Holiday Show and Sale, the Vendors brought different types of food to share.  There was also a guitarist who did a few songs.  It was great!
Mientras durante el Espectáculo de Vacaciones y Venta, los Vendedores trajeron tipos diferentes de la comida para compartir. También había un guitarrista que hizo unas canciones. ¡Era grande!

I would like to thank those who had put orders in for future items and took business cards, as well.  I also like to thank those who had bought hoods and gave some new ideas of what can be done for items.
Me gustaría agradecer a aquellos que habían puesto pedidos en para futuros artículos y tomaron tarjetas de visita, también. También me gusta agradecer a aquellos que habían comprado capuchas y dieron algunas nuevas ideas de lo que se puede hacer para artículos.

Saint Anne's Holiday Craft Bazaar 2016 (El bazar del arte de vacaciones de Saint Anne 2016)

This is the picture from the Saint Anne's Holiday Craft Bazaar that was held last Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.
Esto es el cuadro del Bazar del Arte de Vacaciones de Saint Anne que se sostuvo el sábado pasado de las 9:00 a las 17:00.

During the Holiday Craft Bazaar, there was a silent action that the Women of Saint Anne's would take bids for the items that the Vendors had donated to be bought that day.  The highest bidder gets that certain item created by that certain Crafter/Artist.  The Artist/Crafter got to decide what the starting bid was suppose to be and then the Customers got to keep the bidding going for as long as they had a person giving out what they are willing to pay.  The highest bidder got the item by the end of the day.
Durante el Bazar del Arte de Vacaciones, había una acción silenciosa que las Mujeres de Saint Anne tomarían ofertas por los artículos que los Vendedores habían donado para comprarse ese día. El mejor postor crea ese cierto artículo por ese cierto Crafter/Artist. El Artist/Crafter se puso para decidir lo que la oferta de comienzo era suponen para ser y luego la Clientela se puso para guardar la puja que va mientras tenían una persona que presenta lo que quieren pagar. El mejor postor consiguió el artículo hacia el final del día.

While at the Holiday Craft Bazaar, there was food you could buy from the Church for lunch.  You also could buy some food from a few of the Vendors.  There was a stew that was made by a Vendor that was very good!  I had the stew for my dinner before heading home from the event.
Mientras en el Bazar del Arte de Vacaciones, había comida podría comprar de la iglesia para el almuerzo. También podría comprar un poco de comida de algunos de los Vendedores. ¡Había un guisado que fue hecho por un Vendedor que estaba muy bien! Tenía el guisado para mi comida antes de volver a casa del acontecimiento.

I would like to thank those who had been to the table and bought some Hoods and took business cards for future use.
Me gustaría agradecer a aquellos que habían sido a la mesa y habían comprado algunas Capuchas y tomaron tarjetas de visita para el futuro uso.

Glenmont United Methodist Church Holiday Craft Bazaar 2016 and Photo (Glenmont bazar del arte de vacaciones de la iglesia del metodista unido 2016 y foto)

This is a picture taken from today's Holiday Craft Bazaar event held at the Glenmont United Methodist Church, in Glenmont, MD.  The Bazaar was held from 10 am-3 pm.
Esto es un cuadro tomado del acontecimiento del Bazar del Arte de Vacaciones de hoy sostenido en el Glenmont iglesia del Metodista Unida, en Glenmont, Maryland. El Bazar se creyó a partir de las 10:00 - 15:00.

During the Bazaar, the Church had served lunch for those who wanted it.  They had hot dogs, hamburgers, gluten free buns, chips/cheetos, drinks and gluten free pastries.
Durante el Bazar, la iglesia había servido el almuerzo para aquellos que lo quisieron. Tenían hot doges, hamburguesas, gluten panecillos libres, chips/cheetos, bebidas y gluten pasteles libres.

While at the Bazaar, a few Hoods, Headbands and Dish Cloths got sold for the day.  I also handed out some business cards to those who wanted to put in orders for a later time.  It was great to see how many people came for the event.
Mientras en el Bazar, unas Capuchas, Vendas y Telas del Plato se vendieron para el día. También repartí algunas tarjetas de visita a aquellos que quisieron poner en pedidos durante un tiempo posterior. Era estupendo ver cuanta gente vino para el acontecimiento.
