KBL's Holiday Event Schedule and Farmer's Market Thank You (El horario del acontecimiento de vacaciones del KBL y gracias del mercado del agricultor)

We would like to thank everyone who had been to the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market this season.  Our last day for the market was October 24th.  We hope to see everyone again starting in May for the new market season (May 1, 2014).

As the holidays get closer, we are planning to be selling some knitted scarves, hats, hoods, holiday gifts and more!  Please save the dates for the upcoming holiday events.

Here are some pictures I had taken recently in the last few weeks.  The two bottom pictures are of a hat a Customer had ordered at the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market.  The hat was made with Homespun brand yarn.  It's very warm and soft to the touch!

Sorry about not posting for a while, but I've been really busy catching up with some must-do projects and orders.  Some of the orders were from Customers who go to both the Damascus High School and Olney Farmer's Markets.  I'm planning to post some pictures today with this posting.  Enjoy!
Lamentable sobre no fijar un rato, pero he estado realmente ocupado alcanzando a unos debe - hacer proyectos y pedidos. Another Happy Customer! (¡Otro cliente feliz!)

This is a picture I took today during the Farmer's Market held out in Olney, Maryland.  Another Vendor who was at the market bought this red hood today.  When his friends saw the hood on him, they wanted their very own hoods, as well.  So, I will be knitting hoods and a few other items this week to be sold on August 25th (our next day for the Farmer's Market in Olney).
Esto es un cuadro que tomé hoy durante el Mercado del Agricultor ofrecido en Olney, Maryland. Otro Vendedor que estaba en el mercado compró esta capucha roja hoy. During the market, I had been told that I might be able to get some cashmere yarn to knit with from a farmer up in Pennsylvania.  If this is possible, I may start using that yarn for some of my projects.  I will knit a sample item and bring it to the market if I can get the yarn before September 15th.  I will update you as to what ends up happening when (and if) I can get the yarn in time.
Durante el mercado, me habían dicho que podría ser capaz de conseguir que algún hilo de la cachemira haga punto con de un agricultor en Pensilvania. A Baby Blanket and the Farmer's Market for Damascus High School (Una manta del bebé y el mercado del agricultor para escuela secundaria de Damasco)

Since I didn't go to the Farmer's Market for Olney today, I'm planning to start working on a hooded baby blanket using cotton yarn.  The yarn will be variegated, so the pattern will be a surprise even to me!  I'm hoping to have the blanket ready by early next month.

Speaking of Farmer's Markets, I would like to thank those who had been to the Damascus High School's market last Thursday despite the very hot temps. we had that afternoon into the evening hours.  I'd also like to thank those who bought Tissue Carriers, Crayon Carriers and Soap Socks.

At the market, we have a new farmer.  On Thursday, please come and see what she and the rest of us have that's new this week.  We hope to see you then!  The market is from 3:30-6:30 pm in front of the school.

This Evening's Farmer's Market (El mercado del agricultor de esta tarde)

This evening's Farmer's Market at Damascus High School was good.  We sold two dish cloths and had some Customers stop at the table to see what new items we had for sale.  It was nice being able to be at the market after last week's holiday break.  I'm glad the weather had held off and that the rain didn't come pouring down like it had done in the past.
El Mercado del Agricultor de esta tarde en la Escuela secundaria de Damasco estaba bien. Vendimos dos telas del plato y teníamos alguna parada de Clientes a la mesa para ver que nuevos artículos teníamos para la venta. Era agradable ser capaz de estar en el mercado después de la ruptura de vacaciones de la semana pasada. Me alegro de que el tiempo había aplazado y que la lluvia no vino manando abajo como él había hecho en el pasado.

We hope that those who are new to the market for the high school had a great first time seeing what all of our Vendors had to sell today.  We hope to see you all again next week.

Today's Farmer's Market News and Pictures (Las noticias del mercado del agricultor de hoy y cuadros)

Good afternoon everyone.  I hope you're having a great day.
Buenas tardes cada uno. Espero que tenga un gran día.

While at today's Farmer's Market for Olney, I had taken some pictures.  I had also decided to include a picture of a variegated all shades of blue and white colored headband for you to see that was taken a few weeks ago (last picture).  I have a feeling you'll love how it turned out.  The headband was bought today.  It was so soft!
Mientras en el Mercado del Agricultor de hoy para Olney, había tomado algunos cuadros. During today's market, there was a musician who performed a few songs.  He was very good!  I really enjoyed it very much and it made the time seem to fly by.
