Purple Fingerless Gloves Update & Other News

Hi everyone!

¡¡Hola a todo el mundo!!

I've started knitting the Purple colored Fingerless Gloves yesterday afternoon. This pair will look somewhat different from the first set of Purple colored Fingerless Gloves that I had knitted for Clara (my friend and translator for Knitting By Leah). This pair will have a flap for each glove. Adding the flap will help for those extremely cold weather days. I'm hoping to get this pair of gloves done by next Wednesday. If that's possible, then I can start on the Multicolored Fingerless Gloves by this Friday.

In other knitting news, I had sold another Hooded Baby Blanket recently to one of my friends. Her family loved how the blanket looked once they saw it. It was a Blue Hooded Baby Blanket. They asked for the blanket to look just like the first one that they had asked me to knit for them a while back. It turned out perfectly!

Tissue Carrying Case & Fingerless Gloves

Earlier this afternoon, I knitted two brown Tissue Carrying Cases. The cases will have buttons with dogs on them. The cases also will have 1-free sample package of Kleenex. We will be bringing the Tissue Carrying Cases with us to the upcoming Flea Market in February (February 20th). We hope to see you then!

In other knitting news, I'm planning to work on two new pairs of Fingerless Gloves in the next few days. One pair is going to be purple. The other pair will be multi-colored. Once both pairs of Fingerless Gloves are completed, I will post them on the web site-- and on my ArtFire.com store.

White Hooded Scarf

Yesterday afternoon, I started knitting a white hooded scarf. I have a feeling you'll love how it looks once you see it. I'm hoping that the scarf will be done in time for next month's Flea Market.

In other knitting news, once I finish the hooded scarf, I'm going to try and knit another pair of fingerless gloves that will be lime green for the upcoming Flea Market. The first pair look really good! I'm going to put some pictures of the fingerless gloves on the picture section when I have some extra time.

Lime Green Hood and Fingerless Gloves

Recently, I had knitted two sets of Lime Green fingerless gloves and two matching hoods. They will be for the upcoming February Flea Market. I'm planning to take some pictures of the fingerless gloves and one hood for the Knitting By Leah Pictures Section in the next few weeks.

Knitting Projects & New Year Wishes

¡Feliz Año Nuevo a todos!

Since it's the new year, I've decided to work on some new projects and also some knitting that I know you all love. Yesterday afternoon, I had knitted two new Kleenex Carrying Cases for the upcoming Flea Market to be held in February. The first Kleenex Carrying Case is purple with a beautiful dark purple button. The other case is pink. It has a matching pink flower button that looks gorgeous. Once I get the chance, I'm planning to add them to the pictures section in the next few days.

Desde que es el nuevo año, he decidido trabajar en algunos nuevos proyectos y también algunos nuevos de tejer que sé que os encantará. Along with the Kleenex Carrying Cases, I'm also planning on knitting some hooded scarves. The hooded scarves will be made with brightly colored yarn. Some of the hooded scarves will have the hound's tooth pattern.

IN/OUT Signs

Here are two pictures of an IN and OUT signs. They can be used for children's rooms, offices, etc.. They come in different styles, sizes, colors and kinds of yarn. You can order the signs with your child's name on it for a holiday gift.

Aquí están dos fotos de una señal de IN/OUT (DENTRO/FUERA). Éstas pueden ser usadas para las habitaciones de niños, oficinas, etc. Ellas vienen en direferentes estilos, tamaños, colores y tipos de hilo. Tú puedes solicitar las señasles con los nombres de tu hijo/a en él como regalo de navidad.

New Pictures for December, Ordering Items & Other News

There will be some new pictures coming soon for December. They will be added to the Knitting By Leah Pictures Section in the next few days. If you see anything that you may be interested in, please place an order by leaving your contact information and when you need the item of choice. Also, please be specific as to what color and size the item must be. This will help when figuring out how the pattern needs to look before starting the knitting process.

In other news, I'm knitting another blue baby blanket with a hood. My friend had asked me to knit it for their family. The blanket is going to be for January. From what I have done so far, it looks really great! I know my friend will love the blanket once they see it.

En otro orden de noticias, estoy tejiendo otra mantita para bebé con capucha, de color azul. Mi amiga me ha pedido que la teja para su familia. La manta va a estar en enero. Por lo que he hecho hasta ahora, se ve genial. Sé que a mi amiga le encantará la manta en cuanto la vea.

Also, in other news, I gave a friend of mine that works for the City of Gaithersburg an IN and OUT sign as a holiday gift for her office door today. She really loved it! It is made with Evergreen and White colored yarn. She told me that Green was her favorite color.

También, en otras noticias, le dí a una amiga mía que trabaja en la ciudad de Gaithersburg una señal de IN and OUT (denro y fuera) para la puerta de su oficina, hoy. A ella le ha encantado. Está hecha con hilos de color verde (hoja perenne) y blanco. Me dijo que el verde era su color favorito.
