Today's Weather Report (Informe meteorológico de hoy)

Due to the weather conditions, I had decided not to be at the Olney Farmer's Market for the day.  I will try to be at the market next Sunday from 9-1.  If this changes, I plan to let you know as soon as I can.
Debido a las condiciones meteorológicas, había decidido no estar en el Mercado del Agricultor Olney para el día. Trataré de estar en el mercado el próximo domingo de 9-1. Si esto cambia, planeo avisarle tan pronto como puedo.

At 2 pm today, I plan to start knitting a Kindle Sock that a Customer had placed an order for since Thursday afternoon.  Once it is completed, I plan to take some pictures and post them with my next posting.
A las 14:00 hoy, planeo comenzar a tejer un Calcetín Encender por el cual un Cliente había colocado un pedido desde la tarde del jueves. Una vez que se complete, planeo tomar algunos cuadros y fijarlos con mi siguiente fijación.

Damascus High School Farmer's Market 6-2-16 and Pictures(El mercado del agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco 6-2-16 y cuadros)

Here are some pictures I had taken on Thursday afternoon at the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market.  It was a good time to take the pictures since there wasn't any rain, again.
Aquí están algunos cuadros que había tomado el jueves por la tarde en el Mercado del Agricultor de la Escuela secundaria de Damasco. Era un tiempo bueno para tomar los cuadros ya que no había lluvia, otra vez.

While at the market, there were a few Customers who came to the table and took business cards, placed orders for Kindle Covers and bought Dish/Wash Cloths.  I was also given some knitting books.  The books will definitely come in handy for the next few upcoming projects I had in mind!
Mientras en el mercado, había unos Clientes que vinieron a la mesa y tomaron tarjetas de visita, los pedidos colocados por Encienden Tapas y comprado Reparten/Lavan las Telas. También me dieron algunos libros que hacen punto. ¡Los libros entrarán definitivamente práctico para los próximos pocos proyectos próximos que tuve en mente!

Speaking of Farmer's Markets, depending on how the weather conditions turn out for tomorrow, I will be a Vendor, again for the Olney's Craft and Farmer's Market from 9-1.  If the weather doesn't cooperate as I hope, then I will try to go after Sunday, June 5th.  If I don't go, I will post another posting saying that I won't be there.  If I am there, please look for the Knitting By Leah signs hanging from the canopy and the table I have with me.
Hablando de los Mercados del Agricultor, según cómo las condiciones meteorológicas resultan para mañana, seré un Vendedor, otra vez para Arte de Olney y Mercado del Agricultor de 9-1. Si el tiempo no coopera como espero, entonces trataré de ir después del domingo, 5 de junio. Si no voy, fijaré otra fijación diciendo que no estaré allí. Teddy Bear and Damascus High School Farmer's Market Pictures for May 2016 (Osito de felpa y los cuadros del mercado del agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco para mayo de 2016)

Here are some pictures I had taken recently.  The picture of the booth is at Damascus High School's Farmer's Market from last Thursday evening.  The weather was very beautiful and humid.

The top two pictures of the Teddy Bear were taken a few days ago over the Memorial Day Weekend.  The bear can be knitted in any color and can come with either a scarf or a sweater.  It can show off your school spirit, be the team mascot, or just be a gift.  The bear is made-to-order, so please send an e-mail saying the color and when the bear is needed.  You can send an e-mail to:  knittingbyleah@yahoo.com and put in the subject line:Teddy Bear.
Los dos primeros cuadros del Osito de felpa se tomaron hace unos días durante el Fin de semana del Día de Conmemoración. A Lovely Day to have a Farmer's Market at Damascus High School (Un Día Encantador para tener el Mercado de un Agricultor en Escuela secundaria de Damasco)

Here's a picture from last Thursday's Farmer's Market held at Damascus High School.  It was a cloudy day, but the rain held off until everyone had to leave for the evening.

While at the market, some Customers bought Hoods.  Other Customers came to the table and took business cards for future use.
Mientras en el mercado, algunos Clientes compraron Capuchas. Otros Clientes vinieron a la mesa y tomaron tarjetas de visita para el futuro uso.

We plan to be at the market this coming Thursday weather permitting.  If it rains, there will be a new posting saying that we aren't going to be attending.
Planeamos estar en el mercado esta llegada el jueves permisión meteorológica. Si llueve, habrá una nueva fijación diciendo que no vamos a asistir.

Damascus High School Farmer's Market 5-12-16 (El mercado del agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco 5-12-16)

Here are some pictures I had taken of the set up during the Farmer's Market on Thursday last week at Damascus High School.  The weather was calling for a possible rain shower, again, so the canopy was never used.  If the weather report says it'll be nice and sunny this coming Thursday afternoon into the evening, then I plan to use the canopy.
Aquí están algunos cuadros que había tomado del establecido durante el Mercado del Agricultor el jueves la semana pasada en la Escuela secundaria de Damasco. El tiempo pedía un chaparrón posible, otra vez, por tanto el dosel nunca se usó. Si el informe meteorológico dice que será agradable y soleado esta llegada el jueves por la tarde en la tarde, entonces planeo usar el dosel.

During the Farmer's Market, a Lanyard, Hood and Phone Sock were sold for the day.  One of the Hoods that had been sold was one that I had recently knitted a few weeks ago.  I'm going to use the same yarn and knit another Hood with it.  I can't wait to see what the pattern turns out being this time (it was knitted with variegated yarn).
Durante el Mercado del Agricultor, un Acollador, Capucha y Calcetín Telefónico se vendieron para el día. Una de las Capuchas que se habían vendido era la que que había tejido recientemente hace unas semanas. Voy a usar el mismo hilo y tejer otra Capucha con ello. No puedo esperar a ver lo que el modelo resulta tras ser esta vez (se tejió con el hilo abigarrado).

I'm thinking about knitting more Tissue Carriers/Flu Fighters in the next few weeks.  I'm hoping to do this using some of the variegated yarn that also matches some of the Hoods I have left in my inventory.
Pienso en la labor de punto de más Luchadores de Transportistas/Gripe del Tejido en las próximas semanas. Espero hacer esta utilización de un poco del hilo abigarrado que también corresponde a algunas Capuchas que he dejado en mi inventario.

Unity Festival 2016 at Long Branch Senior and Community Center(Festival de la unidad 2016 en rama larga mayor y centro social)

This is the picture that had been taken during the Unity Festival held at the Long Branch Senior and Community Center on May 7, 2016.  The weather for most of the day was cloudy and had some rain near the end of the event.
Esto es el cuadro que se había tomado durante el Festival de la Unidad sostenido en la Rama Larga Mayor y Centro social el 7 de mayo de 2016. El tiempo durante la mayor parte del día era nublado y tenía alguna lluvia cerca del final del acontecimiento.

During the day, one Customer had ordered a lavender colored headband while being at the table.  I'll post a picture of the headband once it's completed.
Durante el día, un Cliente había pedido una lavanda coloreada la venda estando a la mesa. Fijaré un cuadro de la venda una vez que se complete.

At 12 noon, the Announcer for the event came to the table and bought a hood and also interviewed me about Knitting By Leah.  It was a nice surprise!
En 12 mediodía, el Anunciador para el acontecimiento vino a la mesa y compró una capucha y también me entrevistó sobre la Labor de punto Por Leah. ¡Era una sorpresa agradable!

Damascus High School's Swarmin' Spring Sale April 30, 2016 (Swarmin de la escuela secundaria de Damasco' Spring Sale el 30 de abril de 2016)

Here are some pictures from yesterday's Swarmin' Spring Sale event held at Damascus High School in Damascus, MD..

Aquí están algunos cuadros de Swarmin de ayer' el acontecimiento de Spring Sale sostenido en la Escuela secundaria de Damasco en Damasco, Maryland.

While at the Swarmin' Spring Sale, there were jewelry, book, coffee, clothing of different types, tupperware, and much more for sale during the day.  Those who wanted to enter a Door Prize Raffle had the chance to do so at all the Vendor tables.  There were a lot of winners by the 3:15 pm drawing.

Mientras en Swarmin' Spring Sale, había joyería, el libro, el café, la ropa de tipos diferentes, tupperware, y mucho más para la venta durante el día. Aquellos que quisieron entrar en una Rifa del Premio de la Puerta tenían la posibilidad de hacer así a todas las mesas del Vendedor. Había muchos ganadores por el dibujo de 15:15.

I would like to thank those who had been to the table and bought Hoods, Crayon Carriers and Soap Socks.  I also would like to thank those who took business cards for future use.

Starting Thursday this coming week, the Damascus High School will be having the Farmer's Market for this season.  It is from 3:30-6:30 pm.  Weather permitting, I plan to be there with my knitting.  I have some new items this year.  If you would like to place an order and pick it up at the school, please let me know the exact color, size and kind of yarn you'd like the item to be knitted out of.  If it's a large item (example: sweater), it will need more than a week's notice.  Send an e-mail to: knittingbyleah@yahoo.com.  Please include the item's name in the subject line for each e-mail.
Comenzando el jueves esta semana próxima, la Escuela secundaria de Damasco tendrá el Mercado del Agricultor para esta temporada. Es de 3:30-6:30 p.m. Permisión meteorológica, planeo estar allí con mi labor de punto. Tengo algunos nuevos artículos este año. Si le gustara colocar un pedido y recogerlo en la escuela, por favor déjeme saber el color exacto, talla y clase del hilo del cual le gustaría el artículo tejerse.
