July 3rd Farmer's Market (Mercado de granjeros de 3 de julio.)

Hello again!

¡Hola de nuevo!

We would like to thank those who stopped at our table yesterday and bought phone socks, baby blankets, napkin rings and a tic-tac-toe game at the Kentlands Farmer's Market. It was great seeing so many people the day before the celebration for the 4th of July holiday.

Me gustaría agradecerles a quienes se pararon en nuestro stand ayer y compraron calcetines de móviles, mantitas para bebé, servilleteros y un juego tic-tac-toe (tres en raya) en el mercado de granjeros de Kentlands. Fue genial ver a tantas personas el día antes de la celebracíón del 4 de julio.

In other knitting news, I plan to start knitting a vest and poncho in the next few days. Once I have both items completed, I will post the pictures of them for you to see how they turned out. The vest and poncho pictures will be the start of the July Pictures that I plan to post in the next few weeks coming up.

Sobre otras noticias del arte de tejer, planeo empezar a tejer un chaleco y un poncho en los próximos días. Una vez que ambos artículos estén completados, subiré las fotos que haga de ellos para que puedas ver cómo han quedado. Las fotos del chaleco y el poncho empezarán las fotos de julio y planeo subirlas a la web en las próximas pocas semanas.

We would like to thank everyone who had attended the City Hall Farmer's Market yesterday from 10-12noon and bought Tissue Carriers. We hope to see you all again on Thursday, July 15, 2010.

Nos gurstaría agradecer a cada uno que han asistido al mercado de granjeros del ayuntamiento ayer, desde las 10 hasta las 12 del mediodía y compraron estuches para pañuelos de papel. Esperamos verles a todos otra vez el jueves, 15 de julio de 2010.

For this evening, we are going to be at the Olde Towne Gaithersburg Farmer's Market from 3-7 pm. Please tell your friends and family to come so they can enjoy the beautiful weather and see all the new items we have for sale!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all staying cool on this hot Sunday afternoon.

Hola a todos. Espero que os encontréis muy bien en esta tarde de domingo tan cálida.

At yesterday's Farmer's Market, there were quite a lot of customers even though it was very hot out during the afternoon hours. We would like to thank those of you who had bought Crayon Carriers and stopped to view what we had for sale. We will be at the Main Street Pavilion this coming Saturday, as well.

Ayer, en el mercado de granjeros, había muchos más clientes a pesar de que afuera hacía mucho calor durante las horas de la tarde. Nos gustaría agradecer a aquellos quienes han comprado estuches para lápices y se han parado a ver lo que teníamos a la venta. El próximo sábado estaremos en el pabellón de la calle principal, igualmente.

Speaking of Farmer's Markets, we plan to be having our table and booth set up at the City Hall's On-Stage Market in Gaithersburg on Thursday, June 24, 2010 (weather permitting). We will be there from 10 am-12noon. Please stop by and see what new items we have for sale.

Hablando del mercado de granjeros, planeamos planeamos subir la mesa y el stand a la parte superior del mercado de City Hall (ayuntamiento) en Gaithersburg el jueves 24 de junio de 2010, si el tiempo lo permite. Estaremos allí dsde las 10 hasta las 12 del mediodía. Por favor, paraos junto a nosotros para ver qué nuevos artículos tenemos a la venta.

Here are some pictures of a Reversible Tie that had been made a few weeks ago. The tie can go with any outfit. The yarn that had been used to knit the tie has some wool in it. It's also made with sock yarn-like material. The tie is very soft to the touch!

Cotton Denim Hooded Baby Blanket and Wash Mitten (Mantita de bebé con capucha de hilo de algodón y mitón lavado)

Here are some pictures of a Cotton Denim Hooded Baby Blanket and its matching Wash Mitten. Anyone can use the Mitten just like a normal wash cloth.

June 11th Farmer's Market (Mercado de granjeros de 11 de junio)

¡Hola de nuevo!

We would like to thank everyone who was at Friday evening's Farmer's Market held in Olde Towne Gaithersburg and bought baby blankets. I know they will come in handy!

Nos gustaría agradecer a cada uno quienes estuvísteis en el mercado de granjeros la tarde del viernes en Olde Towne Gaithersburg y que compraron mantitas de bebé. Sé que vserán muy útiles.

Despite the hot temps., there were quite a few customers stopping by our table to see what we had for sale and also taking business cards.

A pesar del tiempo caluroso, habían unos pocos clientes que se pararon en nuestra mesa para ver lo que poníamos a la venta y también para coger tarjetas de visita.

Later today, I plan to start knitting some baby blankets for the upcoming Farmer's Markets held this week. The first blanket will be blue with white stripes. Once that one is completed, I was thinking of knitting a blanket that was yellow and white striped.

Hoy más tarde, planeo empezar a tejer algunas mantitas de bebé para el mercado de granjeros próximo de esta semana. La primera mantita será azul con rayas blancas. Una vez que la primera esté completada, estaba penando en tejer una mantita que será de rayaas amarillas y blancas.
