Good evening everyone! I just added some new pictures this afternoon to the Knitting By Leah Picture section. One picture is of three phone socks for the holidays (XMas Phone Socks). The pattern I had used for two out of the three phone socks looks like gift boxes. The other phone sock is made with stripes of red and green colored yarn.
Buenas tardes a todos. Acabo de añadir algunas fotos esta tarde en la sección de fotos "pctures" de Knitting By Leah. Una de esas fotos es d elos tres calcetines de teléfonos móviles para las vacaciones (calcetines de móviles de Navidad). El patrón que he usado para dos de los tres calcetines parece como cajas de refalo. El otro calcetín está hecho con franjas de enjambre de colores rojo y verde.
I had also made a phone sock that was purple and white colored recently. I had used the v-shaped pattern. It looks really good, too! That one makes as a good gift for the holidays, also.
También he hecho un calcetín de móvil de colores morado y blanco recientemente. He usado el patrón de forma de V. Parece realmente bueno también. Ése sería un buen regalo para las navidades también.

October 17th Farmer's Market
We would like to thank those who had come to today's Farmer's Market despite the weather being very cold and rainy. We would like to also thank those who had bought baby blankets and crayon carriers.
Nos gurstaría agradecer a esas personas que han venido hoy al mercado de granjeros a pesar del tiempo que estaba haciendo tan frío y lluvioso. Me gustaría también agradecier a quien ha comprado las mantitas de bebé y los estuches para lápices.
While we were at the Farmer's Market, there was a glass making demonstration being done by one of the other Vendors. It was very interesting. The glass that she was using so they could make the jewelry was beautiful. She used different colors to mix and fuse together with the help of fire.
Mientras estábamos en el mercado de granjeros, había una demostración de fabricación en cristal que la estaba haciendo una de las vendedoras. Fue muy interesante. El cristal que ella estaba usando así como lacosas de joyería que ella hacía eran preciosas. Ella usaba diferentes colores que mezclaba y fundía juntos con la ayuda del fuego.

Purple and White Phone Sock & Other Projects
Yesterday, I had knitted a phone sock that was Purple and White colored. It has the v-shaped pattern that I had used for the Sage Green and Rose colored poncho. I had taken some pictures of the phone sock, so please look for it in the next few days. The phone sock will be displayed on the Knitting By Leah Pictures section.

In other knitting news, I'm thinking of making a multi-colored child's scarf. It will be made from leftover yarn that has been used for other projects. I got this idea a while back and have been meaning to try to start it before the Winter season came and went. I'm thinking about starting the scarf hopefully this Friday, if there's time.

While I was at the Farmer's Market today, I decided to take some pictures of what the other Vendors were selling (see above). I'm planning to post the pictures this afternoon. I'm sure you'll like them. Some of the pictures look like animals.

Holiday Phone Sock & Other New Items
I recently knitted a phone sock that has the colors: green, red, white, and some pink in it. It looks very pretty. The phone sock would make as a good gift. We are planning to bring it with us tomorrow for the Farmer's Market in Kentlands.
Recientemente tejí un calcetín para teléfono que tiene estos colores: verde, rojo, blanco, y algo de rosa en él. Se ve bonito. Este calcetín para teléfono podría ser un buen regalo. Estamos planeando llevarlo con nosotros al mercado de granjeros en Kentlands.
Some of the other new items I had made recently were: a winter black headband and a black colored Blackberry sock. They are both going to be at the Farmer's Market tomorrow, as well.
Algunos de los otros objetos que he hecho recientemente son: una banda para la cabeza negra de invierno y un calcetín para Blacberry de color. Ambos van a estar en el mercado de granjeros mañana, igualmente.
In other news, the Sage Green and Rose colored poncho is finished! I took some pictures of it earlier today. I'm going to post the pictures in the next few days. It's just lovely! It's very soft to the touch!

Sage Green and Rose Poncho Update
Well, I got the first side of the Sage Green and Rose colored poncho finished. It looks fantastic! I plan on working on the second side of the poncho starting this afternoon. There will be some pictures of the poncho coming in the next few weeks. I know you'll love how it looks once you see it! I'm planning to get the poncho done by this Friday!
