Farmer's Market and Pictures (El mercado del agricultor y cuadros)

Here are some pictures I took yesterday at the Olney-Sandy Spring Museum during the Farmer's Market.  The musical performance was in the same room that the Seaglass Jewelry and my booth were set up in for the day.  The music was great!

Since the weather was extremely cold and the roads were very icy, the market opened an hour later than normal.  This gave the Vendors plenty of time to set up.
Ya que el tiempo era muy frío y los caminos eran muy helados, el mercado se abrió una hora más tarde que normal. Esto dio a los Vendedores mucho tiempo para establecer.

While at the market, there was a Chocolate Contest.  They had a chocolate fountain for dipping marshmellows and strawberries into after the competition ended for the day.
Mientras en el mercado, había una Competición de Chocolate. Tenían una fuente de chocolate para bañar marshmellows y fresas en después de que el concurso terminó para el día.

Farmer's Markets and Other Events (Los mercados del agricultor y otros acontecimientos)

This morning, I got an e-mail about the Spring/Summer Farmer's Market Season starting this coming May.  I'm planning to do the application this week so I can become a Vendor, again.  When I figure out the dates that I will be able to be at the market in Olney, Maryland, I will let you all know.  The market will be held from 9 am-1 pm every Sunday (May 10th-November 1st).  It will be located on Route 108 and Prince Phillip Drive (MedStar Montgomery Medical Center Thrift Shop Grounds).
Esta mañana, conseguí un correo electrónico sobre la Primavera/Verano la Temporada del Mercado del Agricultor que comienza este mayo próximo. Planeo hacer la aplicación esta semana por tanto me puedo hacer un Vendedor, otra vez. Cuando entienda las fechas que seré capaz de estar en el mercado en Olney, Maryland, dejaré a todos ustedes saber. El mercado se creerá a partir de las 9:00 - 13:00 cada domingo (mayo el 1 de 10mo noviembre). Se localizará en la Ruta 108 y Paseo del príncipe Phillip (MedStar Tierras de la Tienda de la Economía del Centro Médico de Montgomery).

Along with the Farmer's Market in Olney, Maryland, I'm also getting ready for the Unity Festival that will be this May at Long Branch Community and Senior Center.  The address is:  8700 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901.  When I get more information after this week, I will let you know the date and hours for the event.

February 15th Olney-Sandy Spring Museum Farmer's Market (El 15 de febrero el mercado del agricultor del museo de Olney-Sandy Spring)

Tomorrow afternoon, I plan to do some knitting to get ready for the upcoming February 15th's Olney-Sandy Spring Museum Farmer's Market event.  The market will be scheduled starting at 10 am and go until 2 pm.  If you would like to place custom made orders for pick up during the market, please send an e-mail with specific colors (ie: red (bright/dark)), sizes and if there is a certain pattern you would wish to have done.  The address is:  knittingbyleah@yahoo.com.
Mañana por la tarde, planeo hacer un poco de labor de punto para prepararme para el febrero próximo 15th's el acontecimiento del Mercado del Agricultor del Museo de Olney-Sandy Spring. While at the market for February 15th, I will take some pictures to post so you can see what items I have that day.  Some of the items will have heart-shaped buttons for sale.

Winter Indoor Farmer's Market at the Olney-Sandy Spring Museum and Pictures (El mercado del agricultor de interior de invierno en el museo de Olney-Sandy Spring y cuadros)

During our first Winter Farmer's Market for this year, we sold Dish Cloths, Flu Fighters and Hoods.  We also handed out some business cards to those who were interested in possibly ordering some items in the near future.  Thank you to everyone who came to the Olney-Sandy Spring Museum.
Durante el Mercado de nuestro primer Agricultor de Invierno para este año, vendimos Telas del Plato, Luchadores de la Gripe y Capuchas. También repartimos algunas tarjetas de visita a aquellos que se interesaron en pedir posiblemente algunos artículos en el futuro próximo. Gracias a cada uno que vino al Museo de Olney-Sandy Spring.

In the morning hours, we took some pictures that will be added into the posting.  One picture is of a loom that was near our area.  It was an exhibit for the museum telling a story about Sandy Spring, Maryland.

This winter, there are some new Vendors that just started this season.  The group sells potted cacti.
Este invierno, hay algunos nuevos Vendedores que sólo comenzaron esta temporada. El grupo vende cactus en conserva.

REMINDER: January 18th Indoor Farmer's Market at the Olney-Sandy Spring Museum (RECORDATORIO: el 18 de enero el mercado del agricultor de interior en el museo de Olney-Sandy Spring)

Sorry for not posting lately (since Jan. 4th), but I've been getting ready for the upcoming Indoor Farmer's Market that will be held at the Olney-Sandy Spring Museum on January 18th from 10-2.  The address is:  17901 Bentley RD., Sandy Spring, MD. 20860.  I will have some knitted hoods, phone socks, tissue carriers/flu fighters, purses, bracelets, napkin rings, hats, etc..  I'm also planning to sell some knitted items for children.
Lamento no fijar últimamente (desde el 4 de enero), pero me he estado preparando para el Mercado del Agricultor de Interior próximo que se sostendrá en el Museo de Olney-Sandy Spring el 18 de enero de 10-2. La dirección es: 17901 Bentley RD, Sandy Spring, Maryland 20860. Tendré algunas capuchas tejidas, calcetines telefónicos, luchadores de transportistas/gripe del tejido, monederos, pulseras, servilleteros, sombreros, etc. También planeo vender algunos artículos tejidos a niños.

During the market, I will be having an order form on a clip board in case anyone would like to place orders for specific items, colors and when the item is needed.
Durante el mercado, tendré una hoja de pedido en un consejo del clip por si le gustara colocar pedidos por artículos específicos, colores y cuando el artículo es necesario.

Here is a Hat and Scarf Set that is one of a kind.  This Hat and Scarf Set will not be sold after this Wednesday.  I hope you enjoy the pictures that will be in the posting.  I just took the pictures today.
