Forcey Christian School's Craft Show and Bake Sale Update (El espectáculo del arte de la escuela de Forcey Christian y actualización de venta de confitería y pastelería)

Here are some pictures I had taken during the day today at the Forcey Christian School's Craft Show and Bake Sale.  Two of the pictures are of an Iphone Phone Sock I just knitted a few days ago.  It was knitted with Peruvian variegated yarn.  Both sides of the Phone Sock don't look alike because of the way the skein of yarn came out when I was working with it.  The next time I knit an Iphone with the same yarn, it may not look the same as the one in the picture.

Dos de los cuadros son de un Iphone Phone Sock I sólo hizo punto hace unos días. Se tejió con el hilo abigarrado peruano. Ambos lados del Calcetín Telefónico no parecen parecidos debido al modo que la madeja del hilo salió cuando trabajaba con ello. La próxima vez que tejí un IPhone con el mismo hilo, puede no mirar lo mismo como el que en el cuadro.

While at the Craft Show, there were some Customers who came to the table and bought some Hoods, Phone Socks, Tissue Carriers and Crayon Carriers.  Other Customers came and placed orders for Headbands and dog clothing.
Mientras durante el Espectáculo del Arte, había algunos Clientes que vinieron a la mesa y compraron algunas Capuchas, Calcetines Telefónicos, Transportistas del Tejido y Transportistas del Creyón. Otros Clientes vinieron y colocaron pedidos por ropa del perro y Vendas.

For the lunch, there was a choice of chili with cornbread, hot dogs, bbq items and options for drinks.  The chili with cornbread was great!
Para el almuerzo, había una opción de chile con cornbread, hot doges, artículos de la barbacoa y opciones para bebidas. ¡El chile con cornbread era grande!

St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Damascus, Maryland and Holiday Bazaar (La iglesia episcopal de St Anne en Damasco, bazar de vacaciones de Maryland)

Hello everyone!  Sorry this is a little later than I had hoped, but I have been a little busy.  I hope you enjoy the pictures from the St. Anne's Episcopal Church's Holiday Bazaar in Damascus, Maryland.  The pictures are of the table set up.

While at the Holiday Bazaar, there were a lot of helpful Volunteers and Staff from the Church.  The music was very nice and quiet.  Also, there were some gluten-free and Vegetarian choices to have for lunch.

Sorry this is a few days late, but this was the first time I had the chance to sit down and start typing this for you.

These are some pictures from the Glenmont United Methodist Church's Holiday Bazaar that I had taken during the day.  Both of the Hoods (Rust and Maroon) were sold during the event.  Those are the two newest Hoods I had knitted.

During the Holiday Bazaar, there was a Bake Sale and other food for purchase throughout the day.

Damascus High School's Last Farmer's Market of the Season (El mercado del último agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco de la temporada)

Well, I know it's been a few days since I posted about the Farmer's Markets and upcoming events for either later this month, or in general.  I'm still getting ready for the upcoming events (I plan to do some knitting this afternoon after lunch).

Speaking of the Farmer's Market(s), the last day of Damascus High School's Farmer's Market for the season was held last Thursday afternoon.  I'm going to post a few pictures of the items I had on display for you to see.  The first picture is of an Earring Holder that is in a shape of a Christmas Tree (the earrings can be used as ornaments) and pillows with a pattern to look like presents using green and red yarn from Red Heart.  The other picture is of the other items I had brought with me that aren't holiday related.  I have a feeling you'll like how they turned out.
Hablar del Mercado (s) del Agricultor, el día anterior del Mercado del Agricultor de la Escuela secundaria de Damasco para la temporada se sostuvo el jueves pasado por la tarde. Voy a fijar unos cuadros de los artículos que tenía en la pantalla para usted para ver. El primer cuadro es de un Poseedor del Pendiente que está en una forma de un Árbol de Navidad (los pendientes se pueden usar como ornamentos) y las almohadas con un modelo para parecer a regalos usando el hilo verde y rojo del Corazón Rojo. El otro cuadro es de los otros artículos que había traído conmigo que no son vacaciones relacionadas. Tengo un sentimiento que le gustará cómo resultaron.

During the Farmer's Market, the weather didn't cooperate so well with everyone for the last day.  It was very cold and rainy, but we did get to sell some Hoods.
Durante el Mercado del Agricultor, el tiempo no cooperó tan bien con cada uno para el día anterior. Era muy frío y lluvioso, pero realmente nos pusimos para vender algunas Capuchas.

Farmer's Market News (Las noticias del mercado del agricultor)

Sorry it's been a while since my last posting, but I had been really busy lately getting ready for the upcoming events scheduled for the holiday season (I have more to do later this week).  I hope you're having a wonderful weekend so far.
Lamentable ha sido un rato desde mi última fijación, pero había estado realmente ocupado últimamente la preparación para los acontecimientos próximos programados para la época de vacaciones (tengo más para hacer más tarde esta semana). Espero que tenga un maravilloso fin de semana hasta ahora.

While I was at the October 5th Farmer's Market for Olney, Maryland, I took this picture.  A lot of the Winter items had been sold since it was extremely cold and felt like Winter was coming any minute now.  There was also an order placed for a Zebra Hood.  It turned out fantastic!
Mientras estaba en el Mercado del Agricultor del 5 de octubre para Olney, Maryland, tomé este cuadro. I plan to be a Vendor for the Olney Winter Market this coming new year (dates to be announced later) at the Sandy Spring Museum.  It will be indoors.  The hours of the market will be from 10-2.

Speaking of upcoming events, I've put in applications to do some new holiday events in Damascus, Maryland and some in Silver Spring, Maryland.  When I get more information, I will give you the dates and times of each event.  Can't wait!

Farmer's Market Information (La información del mercado del agricultor)

During the Farmer's Market Thursday night at Damascus High School, I took this picture.  It is of all the items I have knitted so far.

While at the market, there were a lot of students getting ready for the evening's game that was to be held afterwards.

Speaking of Farmer's Markets, our last day for the Olney Farmer's Market is tomorrow (October 5th).  If you want to purchase any gifts for the holiday season, please come between 9 am and 1 pm.  We will be on the grassy area.  If you see something, but want that item in another color, please let us know and we can start working on it for you to pick up either at the Olney Winter Market in the Sandy Spring Museum ( details to come soon), or you can come to the Glenmont United Methodist Church on October 25th for their Holiday Bazaar any time between 10 am and 4 pm.  The Church is near the Glenmont Metro Station.
Hablar de los Mercados del Agricultor, nuestro día anterior para el Mercado del Agricultor Olney es mañana (el 5 de octubre). Si quiere comprar algún regalo para la época de vacaciones, por favor venga entre las 9:00 y 13:00. Estaremos en el área cubierta de hierba.
