Thursday's Farmer's Market (El mercado del agricultor del jueves)

Due to the rainy weather we had on Thursday this week, I wasn't able to be at the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market, unfortunately.  I'm going to try and be at next week's Farmer's Market between 3:30 and 6:30 pm weather permitting.  I hope to see you there!
Debido al tiempo lluvioso teníamos el jueves esta semana, no era capaz de estar en el Mercado del Agricultor de la Escuela secundaria de Damasco, lamentablemente. Voy a intentar y estar en el Mercado del Agricultor de la próxima semana entre la permisión meteorológica de las 15:30 y 18:30. ¡Espero verle allí!

Pictures from Damascus High School's Farmer's Market (Cuadros del mercado del agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco)

These are some pictures I had taken recently at the Farmer's Market for Damascus High School.  They were taken the first Thursday the market had opened for the new season (May 7th).  Sorry for the delay in posting them, but I was very busy lately!
Éstos son algunos cuadros que había tomado recientemente en el Mercado del Agricultor para la Escuela secundaria de Damasco. Se tomaron el primer jueves que el mercado había abierto para la nueva temporada (el 7 de mayo). ¡Lamento la tardanza de la fijación de ellos, pero estaba muy ocupado últimamente!

At the Farmer's Market for May 14th, the weather was really cooperative and not that breezy.  There were also a lot of new Customers who came by and bought the Lanyard with the colors of the school, Dish Cloths and Hoods.  Thank you to everyone for coming.  I hope to see you all again next Thursday.
En el Mercado del Agricultor hacia el 14 de mayo, el tiempo era realmente cooperativo y no tan ventoso. También había muchos nuevos Clientes que adquirieron y compraron el Acollador con los colores de la escuela, Telas del Plato y Capuchas. Gracias a cada uno para llegada. Espero ver a todos ustedes otra vez el próximo jueves.

Wedding Present Picture and Update! (¡Cuadro del regalo de boda y actualización!)

The wedding for my friend was yesterday!  It was a lovely ceremony and a great reception.  Since the wedding took place, I'm finally getting to post the picture of the gift I had made for the happy couple.  This is a set of four cotton variegated yarn placemats and matching napkin rings.  The name of the color yarn used is Salt and Pepper.  I thought it was very appropriately named seeing that what I had used the yarn for was meant to be in a kitchen, or on a table top area in any room. I know my friend and her husband will love them! Each placemat and napkin ring look different because of how the yarn created the pattern for me as I kept knitting.

¡La boda para mi amigo era ayer! Era una ceremonia encantadora y una gran recepción. Ya que la boda ocurrió, me pongo finalmente para fijar el cuadro del regalo que había hecho para la pareja feliz. Esto es un juego de tapetes individuales del hilo variados del cuatro algodón y correspondencia a servilleteros. El nombre del hilo en color usado es la Sal y Pimienta. Creía que muy apropiadamente se llamó viendo que para qué había usado el hilo se supuso para estar en una cocina, o en un área de mesa en cualquier cuarto. ¡Conozco a mi amigo y su marido los amará! Cada tapete individual y servilletero parecen diferentes debido a cómo el hilo creó el modelo para mí cuando seguí haciendo punto.

Unity Festival & Pictures (Festival de la unidad & Cuadros)

Hello everyone!  Sorry it's been a while since my last posting, but I had been very busy getting ready for the Unity Festival that was held yesterday at Long Branch Community and Senior Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.
¡Hola cada uno! Lamentable ha sido un rato desde mi última fijación, pero había estado muy ocupado preparándome para el Festival de la Unidad que se sostuvo ayer en Comunidad de la Rama Larga y Centro Mayor en Silver Spring, Maryland.

While at the Unity Festival, I took some pictures of our newest items we were selling.  The pictures will be included later in this posting.
Mientras en el Festival de la Unidad, tomé algunos cuadros de nuestros artículos más nuevos nos vendíamos. Los cuadros se incluirán más tarde en esta fijación.

During the day, we sold Hoods, Hats, Phone Socks and Dish Cloths to those Customers who came to our table.  We would like to thank everyone who also stopped at the table and took our business cards for future use.  It was great to see the big turn out of Customers and new Vendors this year.  We plan to be Vendors, again next year for Unity Festival.
Durante el día, vendimos Capuchas, Sombreros, Calcetines Telefónicos y Telas del Plato a aquellos Clientes que vinieron a nuestra mesa. Nos gustaría agradecer a cada uno que también se paró a la mesa y tomó nuestras tarjetas de visita para el futuro uso. Era estupendo ver la vuelta grande de Clientes y nuevos Vendedores este año. Planeamos ser Vendedores, otra vez el próximo año para el Festival de la Unidad.

Knitting Up a Storm! (¡La labor de punto de una tormenta!)

Sorry I hadn't been around much lately, but I'm still getting ready for the upcoming Unity Festival being held at Long Branch Senior and Community Center on May 2nd.  I decided to take a mini break and check in this morning.
Lamentable no había estado alrededor mucho últimamente, pero todavía me preparo para el Festival de la Unidad próximo sostenido en Long Branch, Padre, y Centro social el 2 de mayo. Decidí tomar una ruptura mini y facturar esta mañana.

During the Unity Festival, I will try to get a lot of pictures taken, but it depends on the weather conditions.  I'm hoping for a very sunny day like last year.
Durante el Festival de la Unidad, trataré de conseguir muchos cuadros tomados, pero depende de las condiciones meteorológicas. Espero durante un día muy soleado como el año pasado.

Along with the pictures I plan to take during Unity Festival, I'm also going to post some other pictures of items I've been working on in the last few weeks.  Those pictures will be posted later next month.

Special Events/Farmer's Markets (Mercados de Acontecimientos/Agricultor especiales)

Wow!  Can you believe how fast time is going?  Starting in May, we have a few events and Farmer's Markets for both Olney, Maryland ( near the Montgomery General Hospital's parking lot) and Damascus High School, in Damascus, MD.  The market for Olney is going to be on Sundays from 9 am-1 pm.  We will post a schedule at a later date to let you all know when our first day will be in May.  The Damascus High School's Farmer's Market will be starting on May 7th ( a Thursday) from 3:30 pm- 6:30 pm.  This year, we will have a few new items for everyone to buy and place orders for for future gifts during the year.
¡Wow! ¿Puede creer a qué velocidad el tiempo va? Comenzando en mayo, tenemos unos acontecimientos y los Mercados del Agricultor para ambos Olney, Maryland (cerca del aparcamiento del Hospital general de Montgomery) y Escuela secundaria de Damasco, en Damasco, Maryland. El mercado para Olney va a ser los domingos a partir de las 9:00 - 13:00. Fijaremos un horario más tarde para dejar a todos ustedes saber cuando nuestro primer día será en mayo. El Mercado del Agricultor de la Escuela secundaria de Damasco comenzará el 7 de mayo (un jueves) a partir de las 15:30 - 18:30. Este año, tendremos unos nuevos artículos para cada uno para comprar y colocar pedidos por para futuros regalos durante el año.

As for special events, we are still getting ready for the Unity Festival being held at Long Branch Senior and Community Center on May 2nd from 9 am- 4 pm.  We look forward to seeing everyone again this year!

Sunday's Posting (La fijación del domingo)

What a sunny day for some must-do knitting!  I'm thinking about trying to knit some Soap Socks and a few other small items to get ready for the next upcoming events I had signed up to do starting in May.
¡Qué día tan soleado para unos debe - hacer la labor de punto! Pienso en la tentativa de tejer algunos Calcetines de Jabón y unos otros pequeños artículos para prepararme para los siguientes acontecimientos próximos hasta los cuales había firmado hacen el comienzo en mayo.

Speaking of upcoming events, I hope everyone will be able to attend the Unity Festival on Saturday, May 2, 2015.  It is going to be at Long Branch Community and Senior Center in Silver Spring, Maryland.  The address of the center is:  8700 Piney Branch Road, Silver Spring, MD 20901.  The Unity Festival is from 9 am- 4 pm.
