Holiday Bauble/Ornament Adornos/adornos navideños

 This is a link to a picture of a Holiday Bauble/Ornament that has red with sparkle acrylic yarn and the year on it.  The Bauble can be also used as a stress ball.  To keep its shape, it has Fiberfil inside.  They come in any color of choice.  If a name/year is added, the cost will vary.

Knitted Pumpkin Hat Sombrero de calabaza de punto

This Pumpkin Hat was knitted by using 100% acrylic machine wash and dry yarn.  It comes in all sizes and can be used as part of a Halloween costume while keeping your head warm for the cold nights/days.

Can Cozies

These are knitted Can Cozies with 100% acrylic yarn. They are machine wash and dry. You can also use them for coffee cups. They come in any size/shade of color and pattern. They make good gifts and can be knitted for your favorite team.

 This hat was knitted using variegated 100% acrylic machine wash and dry yarn. Since the yarn is variegated, the pattern is created on its own so it's always a surprise when completed. There's no guarantee that the next hat/item will have the same pattern as the one shown in this picture/posting.

Hi everyone.  I know it's been a while since my last posting, but I was knitting these Phone Socks/Sunglass Covers that are knitted with 100% acrylic yarn.  They're machine wash and dry.  They can be used to keep phone accessories safe and from getting lost or hurt.  They make good gifts and come in any size/color and style you choose.

Light Blue Snood ( Snood azul claro)

 This is a light blue Snood that is knitted with acrylic yarn.  It's machine wash and dry.  Each Snood can come in any size/color and type of yarn.  We also have Snoods that are knitted with variegated colors/yarn.  The variegated yarns create their own pattern, so it's always a surprise when finished.  We can't guarantee how the patterns will turn out if we use variegated yarn to knit the Snoods and other knitted items.

These are a few new Phone Socks and Carrying Cases that can be used for accessories/medical equipment.  They can come in different sizes/colors and types of yarn.  The variegated yarns knit their own pattern, so it's always a surprise when they're finished.  We can't guarantee how the pattern will turn out with the variegated yarns.

Estos son algunos calcetines de teléfono nuevos y estuches de transporte que se pueden usar para accesorios / equipos médicos.  Pueden venir en diferentes tamaños / colores y tipos de hilo.  Los hilos abigarrados tejen su propio patrón, por lo que siempre es una sorpresa cuando están terminados.  No podemos garantizar cómo resultará el patrón con los hilos abigarrados.

COVID-19 Update and Photos Actualización y fotos de COVID-19

 We have reopened the Knitting By Leah website today (9-8-2021) and plan to post phots of the knitted items we've been working on since COVID-19.  We plan to do a new posting with the photos in the next few days.  Please keep your eyes out for the posting and photos very soon.  We're glad to be back!

The Knitted Snoods Collage May 2020 The Knitted Snoods Collage Mayo 2020

Here are some of the first few Snoods that we've done so far this month.  The Snoods are a new idea.  Some of the Snoods are made with cotton yarn.  The ones that are knitted with variegated yarn/colors will create their own pattern, so we can't guarantee how they will turn out the next time we use that same color.

Here are some pictures of the latest items that I have been knitting.  The last two pictures are of a Baby Blanket knitted with variegated pink colored cotton yarn.  It has a Hood attached.

The picture of the Dishcloth was taken today.  It’s the newest cotton variegated yarn I used to knit a Dishcloth.

Holiday Events: Holly Days Craft Bazaar and Luncheon-- November 23, 2019

Hello everyone.  Sorry for the delay in posting lately, but we've been really busy getting ready for the upcoming event that will be held in November-- Holly Days Craft Bazaar and Luncheon.  The Holly Days Craft Bazaar and Luncheon is going to be held at the Wesley Grove United Methodist Church in the Fellowship Hall.
The address is:  23614 Woodfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD. 20882.  The event is from 9 am-3 pm.  It'll be November 23.

🍎 Apple Festival October 13, 2018 🍎

We will be going to an Apple Festival this coming Saturday, October 13, 2018.  The Apple Festival will be from 10 am to 2 pm.  Come and enjoy the day.  We have some new items for early holiday gifts.  The Apple Festival is in Beltsville, MD..  It’s going to be at: Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 11416 Cedar Ln., Beltsville, Maryland 20705.  Hope to see you there!

Right now, I'm working on a Lanyard that's bright pink and bright orange.  Really looks great so far!

Veteran's Day 2017 and St. Anne's Holiday Bazaar (El día del veterano 2017 y el bazar de vacaciones de St. Anne)

Here are some pictures from yesterday's Holiday Bazaar at St. Anne's in Damascus, Maryland.  Since it was also Veterans Day, we had given a discount to the Veterans who are currently serving and who had served in the past along with their family members.

Aquí están algunos cuadros del Bazar de Vacaciones de ayer en St. Anne en Damasco, Maryland. Ya que también era el Día de Veteranos, habíamos dado un descuento a los Veteranos que sirven actualmente y quien había servido en el pasado junto con sus miembros de familia.

While at the Holiday Bazaar, there were a lot of Vendors who sold garden items/plants/soil, crochet items, greeting cards, bake goods, etc..  There was also a Vendor who was giving hearing tests.

Mientras en el Bazar de Vacaciones, había muchos Vendedores que vendieron artículos/plantas/suelo del jardín, los artículos de ganchillo, tarjetas de felicitación, hornean bienes, etc. También había un Vendedor que daba pruebas de la audiencia.

The weather was nice, but windy and cold outside during the day.  It was a good thing that the Bazaar was indoors.
El tiempo era agradable, pero ventoso y frío fuera durante el día. Era una cosa buena que el Bazar estaba dentro.

Dog Sweater and Other Pictures (Suéter del perro y otros cuadros)

Here are some pictures of some items I have been working on lately.  Two of the pictures are of a Dog Sweater and the dog that the sweater was knitted for recently.  The other pictures are of other orders/projects that I planned on doing for the upcoming events.  If you see something that is posted, but would like that item in a different color, please let me know and I will check to find that color's shade for you.

Yesterday, I knitted a Hat that was black.  It is going to be at the next Farmer's Market day for Damascus High School.  Please stop by this coming Thursday afternoon and check it out!  I will bring it with me and take a picture of it very soon.  The market will be from 3:30-6:30 pm.  Hope to see you there!

Baby Booties! (¡Despojos del bebé!)

Here is a pair of Baby Booties that I had knitted a while ago.  They are knitted with 100% acrylic yarn that can be placed in the washer and dryer.  The booties come in any color and size of your choice.
Aquí está un par de Despojos del Bebé que había tejido hace un rato. Los tejen con el hilo acrílico del 100% que se puede colocar en la arandela y secador. Los despojos vienen a cualquier color y talla de su opción.

In other news, I had finished knitting a dog sweater that had been ordered recently.  I'm also working on a hooded scarf and then a vest/sweater that had been ordered last weekend.  Once everything is completed, I will be posting pictures of them, as well.  Please keep your eyes open for everything coming very soon.En otras noticias, había terminado de tejer un suéter del perro que se había pedido recientemente.
