Orange and White DON'T FORGET Sign (Naranja y blanco no OLVIDAN signo)

I knitted this DON'T FORGET sign for a friend of mine.  It is going to be a birthday present this year.  I have a feeling that it'll come in handy.  The sign has a pocket for whatever a person doesn't want to forget to take with them out of the house.  The sign is made with acrylic yarn.
Hice punto esto no OLVIDA firman el recibo de mi amigo. Va a ser un regalo de cumpleaños este año. Tengo un sentimiento que entrará práctico. El signo tiene un bolsillo para lo que una persona no quiere olvidar de tomar con ellos de la casa. El signo se hace con el hilo acrílico.

Knitting News (Labor de punto de noticias)

Today, I plan to do some knitting this afternoon.  I will knit a few Dish Cloths for the Baby Bazaar coming up on April 12th (a Saturday).  The Baby Bazaar will be from 9 am- 2 pm at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in the Agricultural Center (Building #6).  The address is:  16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.  Admission for the Baby Bazaar is FREE.  Please come and see what other baby and non-baby items we will be selling!  We hope to see you then!
Hoy, planeo hacer un poco de labor de punto esta tarde. Tejeré unas Telas del Plato para el Bazar del Bebé que sube el 12 de abril (un sábado). El Bazar del Bebé será a partir de las 9:00 - 14:00 en los Parques de atracciones del condado de Montgomery en el Centro Agrícola (Construyendo núm. 6). La dirección es: 16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20877. In other knitting news, I'm thinking of trying to knit another new item in the next few weeks.  The item will be for the Spring/Summer seasons.  Once I have the new item completed and some pictures are taken, I will tell you all more about it.

Olney Winter Farmer's Market (2-16-14)(Invierno de Olney el mercado del agricultor (2-16-14))

Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a wonderful President's Day Weekend.
 ¡Hola cada uno! Espero que tenga un maravilloso Fin de semana del Día presidencial.

During the Olney Winter Farmer's Market at the Sandy Spring Museum, I took a picture of the musical performance by, " Pat O'Neill's Band".  They were really great!  I hope they can come back to perform for the market again.
Durante el Mercado del Agricultor de Invierno Olney en el Museo de Sandy Spring, tomé un cuadro del rendimiento musical por, "el Grupo de Pat O'Neill". ¡Eran realmente grandes! Espero que puedan volver para funcionar para el mercado otra vez.

I would like to thank those who had been to the market and stopped at the table to buy hats, tissue carriers, crayon carriers and a few hoods.  I'd also like to thank those who took business cards.

Winter Storm (Tormenta de invierno)

Today we had another Winter storm.  Since the storm came (and more is on its way tonight), I decided to do some knitting this afternoon.  I knitted another hat, but this one is made with Simply Soft brand yarn.  It's a dark green. I'm planning to bring it with me to the upcoming Indoor Farmer's Market for Olney-Sandy Spring Museum on Sunday if I can get there (if they still have the market and if the weather cooperates with everyone).  Depending on what happens, the market will be starting at 10 am and go until 2 pm.
Hoy teníamos otra tormenta de Invierno. Ya que la tormenta vino (y más está en su camino esta noche), decidí hacer un poco de labor de punto esta tarde. Tejí otro sombrero, pero éste se hace con el hilo de la marca Simplemente Suave. Es un verde oscuro. Planeo traerlo conmigo al Mercado del Agricultor de Interior próximo para el Museo de Olney-Sandy Spring el domingo si me puedo poner allí (si todavía tienen el mercado y si el tiempo coopera con cada uno). Según lo que pasa, el mercado comenzará a las 10:00 e ir hasta las 14:00.

Knitted Hand Warmer (Mano tejida más caliente)

Here is a knitted Hand Warmer I just finished a few days ago.  They come in any color you choose.  They are made with cotton yarn and beans to be placed inside.  You can put your hand inside the pocket and the other on top of the Warmer.  A great way to keep warm during the cold Winter months! 

Aquí está una Mano tejida Más caliente sólo terminé hace unos días. Vienen a cualquier color que elija. Se hacen con hilo de algodón y alubias colocarse dentro. Puede poner su mano dentro del bolsillo y otro encima del Más caliente. ¡Una gran manera mantenerse caliente durante los meses del invierno frío.

 

 

Olney's Winter Farmer's Market (Jan. 19th) (El mercado del agricultor de invierno de Olney (el 19 de enero))

Here are some pictures I took recently of a Kindle Cover and a Scarf I knitted a few weeks ago.  I have a feeling you will love how they turned out.
Aquí están algunos cuadros que tomé recientemente de una Tapa Encender y una Bufanda que tejí hace unas semanas. Tengo un sentimiento que amará cómo resultaron.

As a quick reminder, I will be at the Sandy Spring Museum in Olney, Maryland from 10 am-2 pm for the Indoor Winter Farmer's Market on Sunday, January 19, 2014.  I will have some new Hats and other items for Valentine's Day.  The market is near Sherwood High School.  I hope to see you then!
