October 27th Farmer's Market & Other Events

Good morning everyone.  Here are two pictures I had taken during the Farmer's Market held at the Kentlands here in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

During the market, there were some new Customers coming to see what all the Vendors had for sale.  Some Customers were looking for gifts for the holidays.

We would like to thank those who had taken business cards and also bought Dish Cloths and Tissue Carriers.

We hope to see you all on November 3rd at the Mill Creek Parish for their Holiday event!  Please look for us.  We are bringing all of our holiday and non-holiday items with us!  Find the perfect gift for the season!

Well, this is all the knitting news for right now.

Damascus High School and Kentlands Market (10-20-12)

Hello everyone!

We would like to start by thanking everyone who had been to the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market for this season.  Our last day was on Thursday (October 18th).  We plan to be Vendors again next season starting on Thursday, May 2, 2013.  As always, thank you to those who had bought knitted items and took business cards.  We hope to see you all next year at the market.

There will be an indoor event at Damascus High School later in November for their Holiday Boutique (details to come soon).

At the Main Street Farmer's Market for Kentlands, we would like to thank those who had purchased Soap Socks.

We will not be at Kentlands Saturday, November 3, 2012 since we are going to be at the Mill Creek Parish for their Holiday Bizarre Bazaar'12.  It's from 10 am-3 pm.  Their address and phone number is:  7101 Horizon TerraceDerwoodMD 20855-1355ph: 301-926-9024.  We hope to see you there!

This Week's Update on the Farmer's Markets

At the Farmer's Market for Damascus High School, we sold Crayon Carriers.  We would like to thank those who had bought them.  We also want to thank those who had stopped at our table and asked for business cards.  We hope to see you all this week again on Thursday from 3:30 pm-6:30 pm.

At yesterday's Farmer's Market for the Kentlands, the Vendors had the yearly Pot Luck Lunch.  There was Quinoa, Chili, Baked Beans, Cider, Cinnamon Buns, etc..  Everything was great!

During the day, we sold a Peruvian colored Hood that we had knitted recently.  It was perfect weather for it!  We plan to knit another Peruvian Hood later this week if there's time.

We had gotten an order Friday evening saying that a new Customer would like us to knit a hat for him. It's going to be knitted using black yarn and have white lettering.  Once it's completed, we plan to post some pictures for you to see in the next few weeks.

Well, this is all for right now.  More knitting news to come in the next few days!  Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

The Markets Update

What a week we've had with the Farmer's Market at Damascus High School on Thursday and then again today at the Kentlands.  We had sold Mahjongg Bags, Phone Socks, Hoods, Hats, and much more!  We would like to thank those that had been to both markets and hope to see everyone again next week.

We would like to thank those who had stopped at our table and took business cards for themselves and their friends.

At today's Farmer's Market, we had a new Vendor.  She sells her own granola (both with and without gluten).  This is her first day at the Kentlands market.  She plans to be with the market for the rest of this season.

Just a quick reminder..... For those who wish to place an order for the upcoming holiday season, please send an e-mail to:  knittingbyleah@yahoo.com and we will make sure to have your order ready for you before the holiday rush gets on the way!  You can pick up your order(s) either at the Kentlands Farmer's Market on Saturdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., or come to the Holiday Craft Bazaars/Marts in November or December.
