Spring Shopping Boutique & Other News (La boutique de la compra de primavera y otras noticias)

We would like to thank those who had stopped by our table and had purchased Tissue Carrying Cases at the Spring Shopping Boutique yesterday held in the Lake Marion Community Center.

Since the Spring Shopping Boutique is over for the season, it is now time to get more items knitted and ready for the upcoming new Farmer's Market season. That will be held at the Kentlands Main Street Pavilion area. The first market date is: May 1st. All of the Farmer's Markets on Saturdays are held from 10 am-2 pm. Please come and see all the new items for sale! Tell all of your friends!

I have taken some new pictures of some new items I had knitted recently. I plan to post them in the next few days. One picture is of an Iphone Sock and a Watch Protector. The other pictures are of Gray colored Golf Club Covers. Once you see all of them, I know you'll like the way everything turned out!

Flea Market Update & Spring Shopping Boutique Info.(La actualización de Flea Market y la información sobre la Boutique de la compra de primavera)

What a beautiful day to have a Flea Market! The sun was shining and there was some breeze in the air. With the way the weather had acted, it brought out a lot of new (and familiar) customers.

¡Qué hermoso día para tener el Flea Market! El sol brillaba y habia algo de brisa en el aire. Con el camino por el que el tiempo había actuado, nos trajo muchos nuevos (y familiares) clientes.

We would like to thank those who had bought Crayon Carriers, Phone Socks, Headbands, and Tissue Carriers while they were at the Flea Market.

New Item-- Golf Club Covers (Nuevo artículo – Cubiertas del Glub de Golf)

Hello everyone. I hope you're having a great start to the weekend.

Hola a todo el mundo, Espero hayas tenido un gran comienzo de fin de semana.

Yesterday afternoon, I had started knitting a new product-- Golf Club Covers! The first set of Golf Club Covers will be knitted using Gray colored yarn. I'm hoping to have a complete set of three done by the time May gets here in time for the Farmer's Markets to arrive. If you have any other suggestions as to how the Golf Club Covers should be designed, feel free to leave your comments here for me. All ideas are welcomed!

Ayer por la tarde, he empezado a tejer un nuevo producto --- Cubiertas del Club de Golf serán tejidas utilizando hilo de color gris. Napkin Rings (Servilleteros)

I started knitting a set of Napkin Rings yesterday afternoon. I used variegated yarn. The colors in the yarn were: red, white and blue. These Napkin Rings were made for the upcoming July 4th holiday. Each set comes with four Napkin Rings. They will be sold at the Flea Market on April 17th and also at the upcoming Farmer's Markets starting in May. We plan to bring extra sets of Napkin Rings with us to the Montgomery Village Foundation's Spring Shopping Boutique on April 24th. Once all the sets of Napkin Rings are completed, there will be some pictures taken for the web site. They will be added to the web site in the next few weeks. Please look for them.

Ayer por la tarde comencé a tejer un conjunto de servilleteros. Usé hilo variado. Los colores en el hilo fueron: rojo, blanco y azul. Esos servilleteros serán hechos para la próxima fiesta del 4 de julio. Cada conjunto vendrá con cuatro servilleteros. This is a reminder to let you know that the upcoming Flea Market is on April 17th at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds here in Gaithersburg, Maryland. While you are there, please stop by our table and purchase a cell phone sock that are the colors for the National Kidney Foundation. Each phone sock that is in the color of Maroon and Orange that gets sold, a dollar will be donated to the National Kidney Foundation.
