July 2nd Farmer's Market (Mercado de Granjeros del 2 de julio)

At Saturday's (July 2, 2011) Farmer's Market in Kentlands, there were a lot of new customers stopping by to our table. Some customers took business cards and bought Tissue Carriers. One of the most popular Tissue Carriers we have had been bought (knitted with variegated multi-colored yarn). Since that one particular Tissue Carrier gets sold so much, I'm strongly thinking of buying more variegated multi-colored yarn and knit a few extra Tissue Carriers just with that type of yarn.

[En el mercado de granjeros en Kentslands del sábado (2 de julio de 2011), hubieron muchísimos nuevos clientes que se pararon en nuestra mesa. Algunos clientes cogieron nuestras trajeras de visita y compraron porta-pañuelos de papel, uno de los más populares que hemos estado trayendo (tejido con hilo jaspeado multicolor). Desde que este porta-pañuelos de papel en particular se vende tanto, estoy pensando concienzudamente en comprar más hilo jaspeado multicolor y tejer unos pocos más con este tipo de hilo.]

Speaking of the market, we have another new Vendor. The Vendor is from a Montessori School in the Germantown, MD. area. They sell eggs and a few other items.

Damascus High School's Farmer's Market (Mercado de granjeros del Instituto Damascus)

During the afternoon yesterday, I went to the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market. A lot of customers stopped at our table and took cards and said how they liked our items that we've knitted recently. While they were at the table, they also bought Tic-Tac-Toe Games, Tissue Carriers and a Phone Sock that had been knitted with the colors of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) colors.

[Durante la tarde de ayer, fui al mercado de granjeso del instituto de Damascus. Muchísimos clientes paraban en uestra mesa y cogían tarjetas y decían cómo a ellos les gustaban nuestros artículos que habíamos tejido recientemente. Mientras ellos estaban en la mesa, también compraron juegos de Tic-Tac-Toe, porta-tissues y un calcetín para teléfono móvil que habíamos estado tejiendo con los colores de la Fundación Nacional del Riñón (NKF).]

June 25th Farmer's Market and NoCo Band (Mercado de Granjeros del 25 de junio y NoCo Band)

Today was another lovely weather day at the Farmer's Market in the Kentlands. We had another new Vendor. They sell and make their own wine.

Hoy fue otro día de tiempo agradable en el mercado de granjeros en Kentlands. Tuvimos otros nuevos vendedores. Ellos venden y hacen su propio vino.

During the day, we had some customers come to our table and see what we had for sale. Other customers took business cards and bought Tissue Carriers and Dish Cloths. When the customers came by, they also looked at the flyer we had posted for the NoCo band that will be performing this evening at 7 PM in Olde Towne Gaithersburg at the City Hall's Music Pavilion.

Durante el día, tuvimos algunso clientes que vinieron a nuestra mesa y vieron lo que teníamos a la venta. Otros clientes cogieron tarjetas de visita y compraron porta-tissues y paños de cocina. Cuanto los cientes venieron, ellos también vieron los folletos de la NoCo band que teníamos expuestos y que tocarán esta noche a las 7 PM en Olde Towne Gaithersbur en el Pabellón de Música del Ayuntamiento.

June 18th Farmer's Market (Mercado de Granjeros del 18 de junio)

What a lovely day we all had yesterday at the Farmer's Market in Kentlands. We had live music during the market. The band that came was there from 10-1 pm. They were very good and brought more customers to the market this weekend. We hope they come again to the market.

Qué día tan lindo tuvimos todos ayer en el mercado de granjeros de Kentlands. Tuvimos música en vivo durante el mercado. La banta que vino estuvo allí desde 10-1pm. Ellos eran muy buenos y tranjeros más clientes al mercado este fin de semana. Esperamos ellos vengan de nuevo al mercado.

Harvard Square's Farmer's Market (Mercado de granjeros de la Plaza Harvard)

Recently, I went to visit Harvard Square in Boston, MA.. While I was there, I went to a Farmer's Market that they had in the morning on Sunday. I talked to some of the farmer's who sold cheese and other dairy products. I asked them if they go to other cities and states to sell their items and they said that they just stay out in the MA. area. I took some pamphlets with me for future information about the companies. I told them that I do handmade knitting. They seemed impressed.

[Hace poco fui a visitar la plaza Harvard en Boston, Massachusetts. Mientras estaba allí, fui al mercado de granjeros que tienen los domingos por la mañana. Hablé con algunos de los granjeros que vendían queso y otros productos del día. June 4th Farmer's Market Thank You (Agradecimiento del Mercado de Granjeros del 4 de junio)

Today was another lovely day at the Tailgate Farmer's Market held in the Kentlands area. There were lots of customers and Vendors.

[Hoy ha sido un día estupendo en el mercado de granjeros de Tailgate en el área de Kentlands. Había muchísimos clientes y vendedores.]

We would like to thank those that stopped at our table and bought a Mahjongg Bag and a Phone Sock. We also would like to thank those who had taken business cards throughout the day. It's nice to see how many people are interested in the knitted items that we have each week for sale.

May 28th Farmer's Market (Mercado de Granjeros del 28 de mayo)

Good evening. I hope you're all having a good start to the Memorial Day Weekend.

Buenas tardes. Espero que hayáis tenido un buen comiendo del fin de semana del Día de los Caídos.

Due to the lovely weather today at the Tailgate Farmer's Market held in the Kentlands, we had tons of customers stop at our table and also look at all the items we had for sale. Some customers took business cards, as well. The items that were bought today are as follows: a gray, black and white variegated scarf, two phone socks, a dish cloth, one tic-tac-toe game and a crayon carrier. We would like to thank everyone for stopping at oullr table and coming out during the Memorial Day Weekend. We hope to see you all again next Saturday.

Debido al tiempo tan estupendo de hoy en el Mercado de granjeros de la puerta principal de Kentlas, hemos tenido toneladas de clientes que se pararon en nuestra mesa y también que han estado mirando todos los artículos que teníamos a la venta. Algunos clientes cogieron tarjetas de visita también. Los artículos qsue trajimos hoy fueron los siguientes: una bufanda jaspeada gris, negra y blanca; dos calcetines de teléfono móvil, un paño de cocina, un juego tic-tac-toe y un estuche de lápices. Nos gustaría agradecia a todos cada uno por pararse en nuestra mesa y venir durante el fin de semana del Día de los Caídos. Esperamos veros de nuevo el próximo sábado.

We recently knitted a new tissue carrier that's made with red, white and blue variegated yarn and a round matching colored button. Once we have the chance to take a picture of the tissue carrier, I will add it to the web site very soon.

Acabamos de tejer un nuevo porta-pañuelos que está hecho con hijo jaspeado rojo, blanco y azul con su corresondiente botón a juego. En cuanto tengamos la oportunidad de hacer una foto del porta pañuelos, la añadiré en la web muy pronto.
