Pictures and Farmer's Markets Galore! (¡Cuadros y los mercados del agricultor en abundancia!)

Here are some pictures of yesterday's Farmer's Market in Olney.  It was very lucky that the weather cooperated with us.  We were located on the grass area near some of the food Vendors and potted plants.  Depending on when a Vendor comes to set up for the day, that is where they are placed.  It's a first come, first serve spot assigned area.
Aquí están algunos cuadros del Mercado del Agricultor de ayer en Olney. Era muy afortunado que el tiempo cooperó con nosotros. Nos localizamos en el área de la hierba cerca de algunos Vendedores de la comida y plantas en conserva. Según cuando un Vendedor viene para establecer para el día, aquel es donde se colocan. During the market, we sold a Pillow Case, two Tissue Carriers, a Flower Pin, a Nook/Kindle Cover, two Crayon Carriers and two cotton Headbands.  We also handed out some buisness cards to those who came to the table throughout the day.
Durante el mercado, vendimos una Funda de almohada, dos Transportistas del Tejido, un Alfiler de la Flor, una Tapa del Rincón/Encender, dos Transportistas del Creyón y dos Vendas de algodón. También repartimos algunos naipes buisness a aquellos que vinieron a la mesa a lo largo del día.

Speaking of Farmer's Markets, during the market last Thursday, we sold two Wash Cloths and a Soap Sock.  The weather was a little better.  I'm hoping for no rain coming this week.
Hablando de los Mercados del Agricultor, durante el mercado el jueves pasado, nos vendimos dos Lavan las Telas y un Calcetín de Jabón. El tiempo era un poco mejor. No espero ninguna lluvia que viene esta semana.

Plum Gar Community Center Spring Bazaar and Damascus High School's Farmer's Market (Ciruelo bazar de la primavera del centro social de Gar y el mercado del agricultor de la escuela secundaria de Damasco)

Hello everyone!  I'm hoping that you're all having a wonderful weekend.  Sorry it's been a while since my last posting, but things here have been very busy lately.
¡Hola cada uno! Espero que tenga todo un maravilloso fin de semana. Lamentable ha sido un rato desde mi última fijación, pero las cosas aquí han estado muy ocupadas últimamente.

Along with today's posting, there are some pictures I'm going to add near the bottom.  The first picture will be of the Plum Gar Community Center's Spring Bazaar from the 10th of this month.  The other two pictures are of DON'T FORGET Signs that I had knitted for Mother's Day Weekend.
Junto con la fijación de hoy, hay algunos cuadros que voy a añadir cerca del fondo. El primer cuadro será del Ciruelo el Bazar de la Primavera del Centro social de Gar a partir del 10mo de este mes. Los otros dos cuadros son de no OLVIDAN Signos que había hecho punto durante el Fin de semana del Día de la Madre.

During the Spring Bazaar at Plum Gar Community Center, I had gotten a few orders for Baby Blankets, Scarves, Mittens and Headbands.  Along with the orders, I would like to thank those who came and bought Tissue Carriers, Bracelets, Phone Socks and Crayon Carriers.  I plan to be a Vendor next year when Plum Gar Community Center has their Spring Bazaar again.
Durante el Bazar de la Primavera en el Ciruelo Centro social de Gar, había conseguido unos pedidos por Mantas del Bebé, Bufandas, Manoplas y Vendas. Junto con los pedidos, me gustaría agradecer a aquellos que vinieron y compraron a Transportistas del Tejido, Pulseras, Calcetines Telefónicos y Transportistas del Creyón. Planeo ser un Vendedor el próximo año cuando el Ciruelo Centro social de Gar tiene su Bazar de la Primavera otra vez.

During the Farmer's Market at Damascus High School this past Thursday, the weather didn't cooperate so well with all of us.  Despite the bad weather, there were some Customers who came by and bought a few items.  I would like to thank those who bought Soap Socks, Wash Cloths and Headbands.  Hopefully, the weather will be better this coming Thursday afternoon.  Hope to see you then!
Durante el Mercado del Agricultor en la Escuela secundaria de Damasco esto el jueves pasado, el tiempo no cooperó tan bien con todos nosotros. A pesar del mal tiempo, había algunos Clientes que adquirieron y compraron unos artículos. Me gustaría agradecer a aquellos que compraron Calcetines de Jabón, Lave las Telas y Vendas. Esperamos que el tiempo será mejor esta llegada el jueves por la tarde. ¡Esperanza de verle entonces!

Here are some pictures I had taken of the Damascus High School's Farmer's Market from last Thursday evening.  The other pictures are of the Unity Festival held at Long Branch Senior and Community Center yesterday during the day.  The last picture is of the Uterus I had knitted for the Birth Adula as a teaching tool.

At the Farmer's Market for Damascus High School, the weather held off until we had to start packing up for the evening.  We were lucky that we have some help from the students that volunteer for the market.  We were happy to see loyal customers returning for this season.  Thank you so much for coming!  We hope to see you again on Thursday evening this week.
En el Mercado del Agricultor para la Escuela secundaria de Damasco, el tiempo aplazó hasta que tuviéramos que arrancar el embalaje para la tarde. During yesterday's Unity Festival for Long Branch Senior and Community Center, we sold Don't Forget Signs, Baby Blankets, Baby Booties and Hats, Dish Cloths, Phone Socks (one for donation to the National Kidney Foundation (NKF)), Tissue Carriers, Crayon Carriers and Wash Cloths.
Durante el Festival de la Unidad de ayer para Long Branch, Padre, y Centro social, nos vendimos no Olvidan Signos, Mantas del Bebé, Despojos del Bebé y Sombreros, Telas del Plato, Calcetines Telefónicos (un para la donación a National Kidney Foundation (NKF)), Transportistas del Tejido, Transportistas del Creyón y Lavan las Telas.

We hope to see everyone at the Spring Bazaar next Saturday for Plum Gar Community Center from 9-3.

Sorry for the delay in giving you all an update on how the Baby Bazaar had gone at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds, but I've been very busy lately with a few orders and also getting ready for the upcoming events starting this May.
Lamento la tardanza de dar a todos ustedes una actualización en cómo el Bazar del Bebé había ido en los Parques de atracciones del condado de Montgomery, pero he estado muy ocupado últimamente de unos pedidos y también preparación para los acontecimientos próximos que comienzan este mayo.

Speaking of events, the Baby Bazaar went great!  A few Customers came by the table and placed some orders.  One order was from a Birth Adula to knit an uterus for teaching purposes.  It's going to be red colored using Red Heart brand yarn ( photo coming soon).
¡Hablando de acontecimientos, el Bazar del Bebé fue grande! Unos Clientes adquirieron la mesa y colocaron algunos pedidos. Un pedido era desde un Nacimiento Adula para tejer un útero con objetivos docentes. Va a ser el hilo de la marca de Corazón Rojo rojo que usa (foto que viene pronto).

As for upcoming events, I have been getting ready for the Unity Festival that will be held at Long Branch Senior Center on May 3rd.
En cuanto a acontecimientos próximos, me he estado preparando para el Festival de la Unidad que se sostendrá en el Centro de Long Branch, Padre, el 3 de mayo.

Along with Long Branch's Unity Festival, I'm also getting ready for the Spring Bazaar Expo at Plum Gar Community Center in Germantown, Maryland.  The Spring Bazaar will be held on May 10th from 9 am- 3 pm.  More information to come later.
Junto con el Festival de la Unidad de la Rama Larga, también me preparo para el Bazar de la Primavera la Exposición en el Ciruelo Centro social de Gar en Germantown, Maryland. El Bazar de la Primavera se creerá el 10 de mayo a partir de las 9:00 - 15:00. Más información para venir más tarde.

Upcoming Events and Possible Projects (Acontecimientos próximos y proyectos posibles)

It's that time of the year again when the markets and other events are about to start for the season.  On April 12th, I will be at the Indoor Baby Bazaar sponsored by the City of Gaithersburg.  The Indoor Baby Bazaar is going to be held at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds ( Agricultural Center, 16 Chestnut Street in Building 6. For easiest access, use the Chestnut and Dalamar Street entrances) from 9 am- 2 pm.  Please come to Building 6 and go to the second floor ( this is where the Crafters will be located).
Es ese tiempo del año otra vez cuando los mercados y otros acontecimientos están a punto de comenzar para la temporada. El 12 de abril, estaré en el Bazar del Bebé de Interior patrocinado por la Ciudad de Gaithersburg. El Bazar del Bebé de Interior va a sostenerse en los Parques de atracciones del condado de Montgomery (Centro agrícola, 16 Chestnut Street en la Construcción 6. The Farmer's Markets will be starting in May, as well for Damascus High School and Olney.  If you are interested in placing an order, please let me know (knittingbyleah@yahoo.com) and I can have the item(s) ready by the first day of either market (Damascus High School's first day is Thursday, May 1st from 3:30 pm- 6:30 pm).
Los Mercados del Agricultor comenzarán en mayo, también para Damascus High School y Olney. Si se interesa en la colocación de un pedido, por favor avíseme (knittingbyleah@yahoo .com) y puedo tener el artículo (s) listo antes del primer día del uno o el otro mercado (el primer día de la Escuela secundaria de Damasco es el jueves, 1 de mayo a partir de las 15:30 - 18:30).

As for some possible projects, I'm thinking of trying to knit some headbands for the upcoming Summer season.  Most of them will be knitted with cotton yarn.  Some of the headbands will have variegated colored yarns, so the pattern will be a surprise once they are finished.
En cuanto a algunos proyectos posibles, pienso tratar de tejer algunas vendas para el Verano próximo. Tejerán a la mayor parte de ellos con el hilo de algodón. Algunas vendas habrán variado hilos coloreados, por tanto el modelo será una sorpresa una vez que se terminan.

Orange and White DON'T FORGET Sign (Naranja y blanco no OLVIDAN signo)

I knitted this DON'T FORGET sign for a friend of mine.  It is going to be a birthday present this year.  I have a feeling that it'll come in handy.  The sign has a pocket for whatever a person doesn't want to forget to take with them out of the house.  The sign is made with acrylic yarn.
Hice punto esto no OLVIDA firman el recibo de mi amigo. Va a ser un regalo de cumpleaños este año. Tengo un sentimiento que entrará práctico. El signo tiene un bolsillo para lo que una persona no quiere olvidar de tomar con ellos de la casa. El signo se hace con el hilo acrílico.

Knitting News (Labor de punto de noticias)

Today, I plan to do some knitting this afternoon.  I will knit a few Dish Cloths for the Baby Bazaar coming up on April 12th (a Saturday).  The Baby Bazaar will be from 9 am- 2 pm at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in the Agricultural Center (Building #6).  The address is:  16 Chestnut Street, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.  Admission for the Baby Bazaar is FREE.  Please come and see what other baby and non-baby items we will be selling!  We hope to see you then!
Hoy, planeo hacer un poco de labor de punto esta tarde. Tejeré unas Telas del Plato para el Bazar del Bebé que sube el 12 de abril (un sábado). El Bazar del Bebé será a partir de las 9:00 - 14:00 en los Parques de atracciones del condado de Montgomery en el Centro Agrícola (Construyendo núm. 6). In other knitting news, I'm thinking of trying to knit another new item in the next few weeks.  The item will be for the Spring/Summer seasons.  Once I have the new item completed and some pictures are taken, I will tell you all more about it.
